Amazing amount of camera angles and time. I just can't enjoy my adventure when living through a camera lense and worrying about getting shots. It takes someone with patients to do such an amazing video. You deserve a lot of views!
When I went to Africa I felt the same way. After I filmed the wildebeest crossing the river I realize that I never actually "saw" it as the whole time I was looking through my tiny viewfinder. 😆
This videography makes this adventure such a pleasure. It must be just a most remarkable memento to show to your kid and grandchildren or family and friends, much better than slides with commentary. I wonder, do you like this bike or would you want one a little bigger? Texas
I know exactly what you mean, as someone who is perfectionist, I've done 1 road trip video on my other channel & I've never done one since. I thought "oh being a youtuber will be fun" screw that, I want to enjoy my trips not be driving back & forth down the same stretch getting angles, setting up drones, worrying about go pro battery levels, find out I wasn't recording & have to do it over again. I really respect the youtubers who put the work into these videos.
As awesome as it is, most of it is really "B roll". B roll makes a video more interesting and varied. However i think front helmet cam, looking back at the rider cam and audio commentary is enough.
Had a great time watching this, and feeling very inspired. Thanks for taking us along with you, the hard work required to bring this video together doesn’t go unnoticed.
Good day! I have shown your video with big pleasure! I am learning English now, and I want relocate to Canada, and I like mototravel! Thank you so much for you "incredible pictures" Canadian nature.
Video production quality is so high. Amazing camera angles, equally amazing conversational skills and exhaust note of Honda engine just adds to the charm of the video.
I would love to ride these roads one day… road tripped out there in June 2023 for my sister’s wedding in trout lake (just south of Revelstoke). Had dinner in Nakusp and went back to their house in Castlegar. Did a little touring around on my enduro that I brought along in the back of my truck, and camped at a few places with sick views… awesome countryside out there.
Being married to a Canadian and having traveled on those roads and expensive BC ferries I can appreciate the time and effort you put into documenting your trip. I don’t think people realise quite how far you traveled and how bad some of those road surfaces can be. Kudos for doing it on such a small capacity motorcycle. I’ll be travelling home to BC in a few weeks from my home in the UK, such a shame I won’t be able to do any riding as we’re in the depths of winter. Love Vancouver island, such a serene and laid back place to live, unlike London. I can’t wait to revisit it and make my way back to Tofino in the summer. Great memories last a lifetime.
My wife did her Graduate studies at UVIC. BC is one of the most beautiful places on Earth. We have some WONDERFUL memories of our time there, some dear friends, and I love Canada almost as much as I love my Country. I also own a 2018 CB500X. GREAT little Bike! It's PERFECT for me. I've been riding since I was 7 years old, I'm now 67 Years old, and "Speed Racer" is long out of my system, LOL! I still love to ride, and when I test rode my current Honda it was love at first ride! Its fast enough for the freeways, is a DREAM in traffic, and I would not hesitate to ride it across the U.S.

Great video you have great skills in editing it's wonderful to see makes the video very enjoyable. And the CB500X is a wonderful bike, it is one of my three bikes I have. Mine is a 2015 with Rally Raid suspension level 1. Makes it a better bike for off-road. It looks like your bike is probably newer than mine, but I tell you I never get rid of mine she'll be in my garage for a long long time don't plan on getting rid of it. Been on many of those roads you were on in this video and some I will love to explore again. I live in BC Okanagan Valley. I ride it mainly the back roads dirt roads and Highway of course. I look forward to more of your videos, thank you for sharing.
I've thought about getting the RR kit as well but it's pretty expensive. I'm waiting to see if Honda releases a new 750cc adventure bike before I decide on if I will upgrade my CB500X or get something different.
@@AnthonyJohyeah I thought about waiting too for a bigger bike from Honda, but I have a couple of like other bikes so make up for the lock of power on this one but it gets the job done pretty well perfectly for off-road. What year is your bike?
