Thanks for these informations! I'm currently in 8th grade, going to 9th grade in the summer. I was able to get a 10 on the AIME but barely didn't qualify for USA(J)MO :( A tip from me is just reviewing topics that are repeated in AMC test series, which can be found on Sohil Rathi's book for amc 10/12 and/or AOPS volume 1. Solving mock amc 10/12, personally, didn't really help me because they are usually much more difficult than the actual tests. This year, I'm going to try to reach JMO and see how it is. Next year, though, I might take the AMC 12 to possibly qualify for USAMO.
@@mayankchoudhary8946 I mostly practiced Sohil Rathi's book for amc 10/12 because it has all of the fundamentals and skills you need up to JMO I believe. AOPS practice tests are pretty helpful too.
@@oddeyecubing2200 Hi, I'm also an 8th grader currently going into 9th. I'm definetely a lot dumber than u, but I'm trying to qualify for AIME this year. With the limited time leading up to the AMC 10, would you say it is possible to qualify?
I'm a 9th grader going to 10th and messed up so bad in all the math competitions I took. I will start the grind after the school competition I did today...
Wake up!!! Amy posted!!! 😸💜 Hello Amy! Thank you so much, as usual, for this noteful video! Stupid question time! Amy? Have you ever taken part in the AMC (Australian Maths Competition)? 😸
@@HumanHuman. Hello Dear. It's so nice to hear from you. No need to thank me, I just appreciate Amy's hardwork which she puts in her videos. Ohh OK. Of course, I'll share this video with others too. 😸
I came across this video randomly, but I figured as someone who's done quite well in math contests I would add a comment of support for what you're giving! All of the remarks you made have been so relatable, and all of them have their place in the lead up to these competitions (though maybe in a different manner for Olympiads). I do want to add that careless mistakes happen, but some things we consider careless mistakes might actually be an inadequate grasp of the material. These require attention just as problems you get stuck on require attention.

I sillied two quesitons on aime and didn't make jmo this year :((((((
How do you make AIME if you can score a 90 on AMC 10?
Hussein my friend sent me the video on Instagram and told me to watch this beautiful girl. I am in love and admire her beauty. He loves Asian girls.
😂
5 or 6 on AIME is unacceptable! should be 13+ or 14+
