I saw the community tab and broke into tears, I felt so sorry for you. Because not everyone on RUclips feels confident to share some deeper stuff, I’m sure that almost everyone here feels your struggles and I will pray for you and your family to recover from this injury
I lost my father 42 years ago at the age of 7. In the last 8 months I've lost my brother to suicide and my mother to a broken heart. I'm really struggling with this.
That sounds really tough man…One advice: don’t give up! You got this! Life’s a battle and everyone is going through hard times. At the end of the day, try to have an optimistic mindset. I know it’s probably extremely painful sometimes, but…don’t give up.
Charles, this is David P's dad. We met at the wedding in June. I am so sorry for your loss. Based on my own experience, losing one's Dad is a big deal. But I hope you get the strength to continue with your life using your Dad's memory as a reason to move on. I am sure that's what he wanted. It's good to talk about it as you are doing. Than you for sharing.
Hey why are you making polls to insult Africa? Africa has clean water in almost every city or town it's only in the villages that don't have clean water. Even places that don't have clean water have factories that purify the water and bottles them and uses it for domestic purposes. Also there is Internet everywhere in Africa so please just stop with these ignorant polls.
Thank you for being so vulnerable and sharing your grief ❤❤❤ the power in comfort from strangers is something that can’t be explained, but is undeniably miraculous ❤❤❤ nothing but pure love for you and your family
I'm really sorry for your loss man. I've seen so many ppl lose they're mothers and fathers and I know how terrible it was for them so I can only imagine how much it's affecting you. I hope you can heal over time, ily man🤙
I lost my dad 20 years ago and still miss him to this day. I am sorry for your loss. Glad you were able to spend the last few days with him. Praying for comfort, peace, and strength during this difficult time 🙏🏻
Take the time you need and heal is hard but remember the good times you share with him and all the love he showed. I miss my grandparents and it still hurts but I always remember the good times and food we shared. Sending you a warm hug 🙂💛
So sorry for your loss! Your parents were a Breathtakingly beautiful couple!!! God Bless & Protect You through all your future endeavors. Strength and comfort to you & your family!!! 🙏🙏🙏
Stay strong bro. I usually see your shorts but never bothered to check your channel. I saw your community feed. Reeding it I realized how I've been taking the people in my live for granted.I'm not a good son to my parents not a good brother to my siblings. Got me thinking alot. Thank you for that.
You went through something so traumatic, and there's a lot of grief ahead but keep doing what you're doing. Sending you hugs and prayers ❤️ do whatever you need to do get through this. This video was touching and genuine and your community supports you!
Im sorry for your loss charles. I hope you can get trhough your pain and cherish the wonderful memories you have of your dad. Listening to you talk about your dad has reminded me how important it is to have a good relationship with my parents. Thank you Charles were all here with you.
Hi Charlie, I just watched the entire video, I just wanted to say thanks for sharing, you are so brave, I'm so sorry for your loss, I'm sure it was not easy what you went through, I lost mine when I was 24 years old and he was 55, just know that your dad still lives on in your heart and all those great memories you shared together. I'm sure both your parents are very proud of you wherever they might be and would support you on whatever you decide to do from now on. Sending you a big hug and wishing you peace in your heart.
My heart breaks for you. Losing a beloved parent is never easy, and worse right at the holidays. You deserve some time to process and no worries, the fans of your work will still be here. Take care of yourself.
Praying for your family in this time of trauma and healing. It’s even harder when the parent lived with you so take things slow 🙏 ❤ thank you for your content and sharing your story. Your dad knows how talented you are and he’s still there.
I'm with you.... I will pray for strength and peace for you and your family. I went through something similar with my mom 3 years ago. He'll always be with you, in your heart. Remember always the good things. May he rest in peace.
I’m so sorry, brother. I understand your loss, my brother. I miss my grandma everyday, and I lost her a year ago. It was rough espcially for the holidays. But I feel her in my heart everyday. Have a happy new year and happy holidays🥺🥺😢👊🏾👊🏾
I’m sorry for what you’re going through. I know it’s rough so I hope you have a system to help you recover. I’m glad you were able to form good memories with him. You’ll never forget those.
No one should ever feel this pain but unfortunately that's life and we all will feel it at some point. Stay strong man and I only wish you the best in the next year. You dropped this Charles 👑. Keep your head up high
Crazy how I’ve been watching these shorts for the past few months cause they were always on my feed but wasn’t even subscribed and never clicked on your channel. Sorry for your lost buddy. Great tribute to your dad, and I liked what you said at the end “If my dad got me anything, it was me talking to my best friend again”. Thats awesome, and your dad sounds like the coolest doctor lmao, love it. Cheers,
I think anyone can understand the enormity of your loss, and I am so glad to see you able to channel your thoughts into some sort of outlet that helps you in such a time of grief. It never goes away, as I’m sure you know, but the grief hopefully will begin to fill with those amazing memories you shared together. Take the time YOU need to be better in your headspace brother.
So glad you have your brother, sister & relatives. Mourn as long as you need to mourn. Then celebrate their lives. Celebrate everything. Find your joy in their joy. You will see your mom & dad in family. I see my mother in my hands & I hear her in my voice especially dealing with my 19yr old son. One step at a time. One breakdown at a time. AND take your time being you!! Don't make rash, harsh decisions. Think, you'll learn more about yourself. Be your own man. You'll make mom & dad proud💞💕
My deepest of condolences and thoughts and prayers are with you all in your current situation and I hope god or whoever you may believe in is taking good care of him and I’m sure that he, Coco and all of your other loved ones will be watching over you until you meet again Stay strong my friend and may your dad rest in peace ❤️💕🕊
Charles is an atheist, so to him he's never seeing these people or animals agian. Dude is going through a lot, loss hits different when you don't have/believe in that comfort. I hope he's doing as okay as he could possibly be.
Today is my first encounter with you. Your story brought me to tears a few times. I am so sorry for the loss of your dad and your mom. I lost both of my parents within 3 years of each other when I was in my late 20s and early 30s. It was a challenge. You sound like you will make it through the losses--you seem resilient. But there still is grief and a sense of loss. i have to say that while you were talking, I wanted to reach out to you and give you a hug. I wish the best for you, and I hope your plans/dreams come to fruition. BTW, as a physician myself, I must say to you that you and your siblings are at risk--sounds like your dad's family has some bad cardiovascular genes. So, be sure to have preventive care.
Love to you, Charles!! So sorry for your significant loss. Thank you for sharing. Healing is not linear...you don't have to be better, faster, stronger quickly. And be aware that during times of tremendous grief, it's not a great time to make/finalize major life decisions like moving, plastic surgery, money stuff...b/c there's a fog, a shock w/ loss and grieving, & one is in survival mode for a time. Sounds like you experienced being a parentified child...me too. Look it up. In one's 20's & 30's there can be so much loss, I've discovered also. I find comfort in my relationship w/ God through Jesus...I've had some experiences that reinforce the realness of that, that God has manifested Himself to me & I have no doubt about his realness. Anyway, I almost lost my dad on multiple occasions b/c his heart...he needed triple bypass open heat surg (slender, physically active but still), had a bypass that failed, had a reaction w/ his med to MSG in Chinese food. And a scare b/c his chest muscles were cut during surgery & when he did yard work when supposedly healed/cleared & used the shears...he ended up in bad chest pains & tightness/cramping...but it was just his muscles. Then a fight to improve Baby's brother Pig's health ensued, but he passed...he was suffering the last day esp & I had to make my first decision to put an animal (him) to sleep & signed that paperwork. There was no hope & it was out of love, that I wouldn't make him con't to suffer more. And in a day he had had a dramatic downturn. Other rough & also good stuff happened in life. I won the 10 yr court battle. Super grateful for that. Life can be a roller coaster & doesn't always feel fair...but there is so much beauty & love. Consider at least Agnosticism. The hope that this is temporary & there is a force beyond oneself & we don't have to feel we definitively know everything & control everything...there's a comfort. If you want, start talking to Him...He's big enough for your anger, fears, frustrations, doubts...work it iut, start a dialog w/ Him. You may find comfort, and feel the present of His presence. We aren't here forever. And the Earth isn't perfect, there's pain here... Romans 8:28 I feel is my life verse, personally...that God can work ALL things for our good. Along those lines...you may feel comfort, a peace, and being KNOWN you're unfamiliar with. These are worth a listen: Andre Crouch's Gold album is an oldie but a goodie. Nicole C. Mullen's Redeemer album. Songs: In Christ Alone (My Hope is Found) by Adrienne Liesching, Fires by Jordan St. Cyr, Desperation Band: Rescue. Hillsong: Came to My Rescue. Jeremy Camp: Stay album & his early albums. Lauren Daigle's hits...some hit mainstream too.
Wow. Your mom was stunningly beautiful! I looked at that photo of them smiling and looking so happy and I hope that somehow it gives you comfort knowing they are so happy to be together again. I know you’re hurting and I’m so sorry for that. Much love to you. I know they are cheering you on from the other side 💖
I’m so sorry bro. When I lost my grandpa to cancer I got messed up on drugs and attempted to self delete. I still feel lost he was the one who raised me before my parents got their lives straightened out.
I am so sorry for your loss Charles. I want to tell you that I really love the video you made. I wanted to see it to be there for you and keep you company somehow through this very difficult time. I want to tell you that I admire your courage, your strength, your honesty, your vulnerability and your kind heart ❤️ I know you will understand better with time what it is that you want to do. You're a young talented man, don't worry, you will be fine :) Best of wishes, lots of love, and thank you for sharing this with us, it's so moving and inspiring, it's powerful, and so are you 💛💛💛
I'm new to your channel and this happened to be the 1st video I watched. I t truly touched my ❤ What a beautiful story in honor of your dad. I love the photo of your parents. What a good looking couple! 💞 LOVE AND LIGHT 🌺💫🕊🦋
ooof... I lost my dad when I was 16, still hurts to this day. So sorry for your loss man, trust me, I know exactly what your going through. What I can tell you is he will always be right there in your heart man, I know its not the same, I do, but he will always be guiding you from inside. Merry Christmas brother.
Hey you, I wanted to just take a moment and tell you that my heart goes out to you. I’ve just spent every day of the last week, except for Christmas visiting one of the clients I work at the nonprofit. I spent every evening reading to her for 2 to 3 hours when she was in an unconscious state, hoping that she would get better sadly on Monday she passed as I was there, and it was utterly devastating so my heart goes out to you and your family right now. But I wanted to tell you that you have this remarkable ability to transform your suffering into motivation, everyone goes through what they call a dark night of the soul. These are periods in our life where we feel that everything is collapsing around us, and everything that we knew a solid disappears however, life keeps going that doesn’t mean that it won’t hurt like hell. But you’re clearly surrounded by people that love you. And you have such strength of will. Never underestimate how much strength you have inside. I’m sending you a lot of love right now. Be well, my friend.
My Father's Death anniversary was on the 29th of December between Christmas and New Year's. I remember how the shock of his Death propelled me toward being contemplative about my own future and the goals within that vision...I realized later on that it was precisely that...shock. The harrowing trauma sometimes causes one to focus on anything BUT the actual devastation and Death. That will set in later but watching you felt quite relatable. My Mother Died in 2022 and I too am a fairly young person with two deceased Parents whom I miss and long for with ever fibre of my being. Have strength, Charles. 🥀
If you ever read this Charles, first of all my condolences to you and your family. Losing someone you loved most especially from your own family is one of the worst and painful feeling you'll ever experience but I hope you will still continue to become stronger, become happier and most importantly continuing to do whatever you love, whatever your heart desires. Because I know for sure that's what your father wants for you and your family too. He's proud of you Charles. Never back down and keep your head high!
Just like you I lost my grandmother on the 23rd a few years ago. She was like my 3rd parent who always took care of me while my parents were working so the loss hit extra hard. Now whenever Christmas comes around it’s always kinda bittersweet. May your father rest in peace and wishing the best for you and your loved ones.
Bless you btw-hang in there I’ve lost both parents as well as all of my siblings - I’ll miss them daily however I focus on the things that we laughed our #**{ asses off with him/her and I talk to them just about every day!! The sadness never leaves, just focus on the great times you’ve shared and you are you because of him- be grateful for that you turned out not so bad right?! Btw… he knows you love him!!
I’m late to the meeting but we love you Charles. I’m sending nothing but positive energy your way bro. Thank you for the content and for the hard work. You are valued and appreciated. Never forget that.
Hi Charlie. I just read your post about your dad, he sounds like a character my kind of guy. I'm so sorry for your loss my heart goes out to you, your dad and the rest of your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. ♥️🙏
Hey man I lost my dad very suddenly to undiagnosed lung cancer back in 2021. He was actually in the hospital waiting for his first biopsy following admission when it happened. Nothing can really ever express how a sudden loss of someone close ever feels and nothing anyone says makes it any better. However it does get easier to live with in time. Please take time to grieve and to get any support you need
You’ll recover from this Charles. It’s very honorable and moving that you shared this with us. You got this bro! It’s okay to greave, just take the time you need to process your emotions. Do things you remember, honor your dad the best way you know how. ❤
I am so sorry to hear what you went though Charles. I think it is amazing that you are carrying on your Father's legacy. I hope you and your Family are doing well. ❤
Damn bro, that’s brutal. I’m so sorry for your loss, especially this time of year. I know that you probably can’t find anything joyful in anything right now but his last photo is priceless and I suspect that you’ll enjoy looking at that for the rest of your life.
My grandmothers who died 3 months within each other really hit my family hard. So then I spend time with my mothers family(her 2 brothers wives and their kidw(2 each)). They died a year ago. So from now on every Christmas me and my aunts and uncles and cousins and whoever wants to join tells their favorite stories of my mothers grandmother as a way to remember. We went through all my family’s photos and stuff. Going back to some of my great grandparents stuff like their Austria Hungary and American passports. Along with pictures from the 80s and 70s. Another way to remember. Even though they’re not here with us physically as long we remember them they’re never gone.
Just started watching your vids so I'm new here but wanted to say sorry for your loss I've always had a hard time accepting that we lose our loved ones but I believe they live on in spirit 😢 God bless!
sorry for your loss ❤ my dad died a few years ago suddenly, 10 days before christmas. i hadnt seen him in 2 years since we lived in different countries and we were supposed to spend christmas together. time heals all wounds but the gap in your life never shrinks.
I hope that you find peace at some point, I think your reaction (for lack of a better word) has a sense of joy while going through these hard times. Take your time and know you have quite a few people who you know and love, and who you don’t know quite as well. Hope you achieve all the goals 34:15 that you set for yourself!
Don’t cry because you miss him, cry because you’re happy that you got to spend time with him. May he rest in peace

My deepest condolences, Charles. ❤Please take all the time you need, my heart goes out to you.
I am so sorry for your loss. 😢💔 I will be praying for you and your family.
Sending so much love from my family to yours. I am so so sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss. I hope you can come to terms with this as painlessly as possible.
🎀My condolences to you and your family on your loss.🎀
I’m so sorry for your loss and you’re in our prayers
I lost my dad 6 months ago. I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm praying for you! Here's an air hug!
Your parents were so beautiful. Such a great looking couple. I’m really glad you have siblings. ❤ Praying for your whole family.
YNWA and RIP to your dad. Keep your head held up high the golden sky will come soon. Stay strong💪
I'm deeply sorry for your loss. May your Dad rest in peace. 💔
Just came across this and couldn’t help thinking how proud your dad must have been of you 💙.
Oh my God. I am so sorry for your loss. What a heartbreaking story. I have no words.
Sorry for your loss, especially at this time. It's so unexpected often. I hope your mum is OK. Take care of yourself, and family. 🌹

You are in my prayer keep your head up we are all thinking of you god bless you
I can't imagine your loss, my deepest condolences. Praying for you
Condolences mate. I hope you can cherish the fun times.
This broke my heart. I'm truly sorry for your loss
So sorry to hear your news: what a horrific shock that must have been, that is alot of loss you are dealing with 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 praying for you 🙏
I lost my dad in July, 😢. I hope you find peace and comfort within your family. My dad passed away at home.❤
RIP to your dad may he rest in peace 😢
I hope that you find peace at some point, I think your reaction (for lack of a better word) has a sense of joy while going through these hard times. Take your time and know you have quite a few people who you know and love, and who you don’t know quite as well. Hope you achieve all the goals 34:15 that you set for yourself!
Sorry for your loss I know how you feel I lost my dad to so I definitely know how you feel and may your father rest in peace.
I'm so sorry for the loss of your Dad. Take care.
