@@splashenglish Out of curiosity, is "appointed" used in that situation as frequently as "hired"?
The second line, too - as a General Manager, instead of "the" general manager
Last line - glad to be "a" part of such a nice team.
How do you think? I mean, I'm also confused when to use "a" and "the" often, so I just wanted to take it as an opportunity to have it confirmed. Thank you in advance.

I think it is my first comments of your video.
Your videos are very useful for me.
As a ODA(Official Development Assistance) worker, professional communication is very important.
I wrote down my introduction below.
    I am Damin from KOICA.
My job is budget planning for projects of KOICA running in overseas to hence international cooperation and development.
Simply saying, my organization’s work is international social welfare. We build schools and run public health programs in developing countries.
What I do is distributing resources to maximize its impacts. To reach that goal, I evaluate proposals and decide which projects to go.
    Thanks for reading it.

    Hello, nice to meet you.
I am Henry and I am working as a GIS specialist in a non-profit organization called Ecocity Builders.
We are trying to make cities more sustainable and ecological, and we develop and implement policy, design and educational tools and strategies to reshape cities for the long-term health of human and natural systems.
I am currently working on a project called Urbinsight - which develop web-based crowd-mapping tools that the public can access, explore, measure and act upon urban health data. Also, I am developing GIS educational materials for university students and project participants.

Good job. You can also combine the last four sentence and make them even more concise. "I came to New Zealand last October to take the Business Information System course for a year at XYZ University/Institute. I plan to get a job as a computer programmer and a permanent residency after I complete the course (or get my ABC certificate/diploma).

Hello. Nice to meet you. My name is Han from South korea. I work for ship builiding company as accommodation designer. Almost of all ship buyers are from foreign country. So, I should communicate with them in English. That's why I want to improve my English speaking. I just wanted to say thank you so much. I really appriciate your wonderful videos. I hope see your video soon again. Take care and have a nice day.

"a ship building company" "an accommodation designer." "Most of our buyers are international" "foreign"이라는 말은 주관적이니까 이것은 뺐어요. We use English at work. We communicate mainly in English.
