    Very interesting review. I didn't know all those kinds of Tangle teezer's, except their first brush for styling. I have kinky hair and this brush makes a good job.

    I got the compact tangle teezer thinking it would be great for traveling , however I absolutely hated the way it felt on my hair . It was pulling it and was very rough to my scalp . The bristles were very harsh so I switched to regular (bean shaped one) and noticed major difference straight away ! It detangled without any hustle or pain to my hair and felt so much softer. I m so so glad I swapped my initial choice ... didn’t think there was such a huge difference in bristles but there really is and for me the compact one is just a huge No !

      The finishing brush (now called the Ultimate brush) is my favourite just because it gets through more hair quicker than the other brush. Hope that helps!

    I have had a Tangle Teezer brush for fine, fragile hair for about a week. Love it. It doesn't pull out as much hair as other brushes do. My hair tangles easily. My hair has thinned out so much & I don't want anything that pulls it out ! This brush detangles so quickly, very few hairs are in brush after I use it & oh my gosh, it feels SO good on my scalp ! I've ordered 2 more...a compact one that go in my bag....& one that's for most hair types. Love the colors.

      @@gwynette896 When you look at the Tangle Teezer brushes, they'll say which type of hair they're made for....one says it's for fine, fragile hair. I still use it & like it a lot. I'll check my Amazon orders & see if there's any more info I can provide to help you.
      OK...the mint-violet color one is for fine & fragile hair.

      @@patwagner9308 thank you! may i ask if the bristles bend or snap when you put it in your bag? I'm thinking of getting the original one (I buy it from shopee as we don't have amazon here and it's more expensive to buy from the official tangle teezer website due to shipping) over the compact styler because it seems like the compact styler would be small (although i like its cap). Sadly only the original and compact styler are my only choices as it's the only ones available

    • @patwagner9308
      @patwagner9308 2 года назад

      @@gwynette896 Hi again! Well, I don't carry the brush w/me. But I have a compactTangle Teezer that comes w/a cover...so if I want to put one in my bag, I'd take that one. I'm inclined to think any of the Tangle Teezers will be fine. I have 3 & all are good for my fine, fragile hair.
      If you plan to carry one of the originals in your bag, it might be a good idea to put it in a small bag & then put that in your bag. The smaller bag would protect the Tangle Teezer.

    Is the original best for me?

    • @KristyJoan
      @KristyJoan  3 года назад +1

      The original would work perfect- they also make a red original that has slightly longer bristles. I think it's called "Thick and Curly", having longer bristles would work best for beards to reach the skin and stimulate the follicles. Hope that helps!

      @KristyJoan  5 лет назад +4

      Heya! Nope! Never heard that one before. There would be no scientific reason why the Tangle Teezer would cause hair breakage over any other brush, and even then, you would have to be ripping at your hair with a brush for hair to break!
