I have a retracted stoma (uk stomas aren't like US stomas) and I thank you for showing the paste properly! I think this has just made my mind up to try it 😁
God love you girl, you are amazing, had my bladder and prostrate removed 4 weeks ago, so only starting getting used to my new normal, definitely not missing the pain or effects of the extreme drugs I was on but still, takes some getting used to, especially being tied, restricted in bed, people like you inspire me to keep going there were times, I didn't think I'd make, take care beeeeautiful girl,
hi , Im a girl from spain who watches your videos ,I also have cronh disease but complicated and they had me I operate an emergency and there is a pouch temporary then they did the reconstruction but did not help at all I had to go back to emergency surgery and since then I have two fistulas in in the belly I use also bags tha make me like ileostomy . you·re great I love the way you deal with it and want to help more people keep it up And you have a faithful subcriber . saludos desde España
i have difficulty with ConvaTec paste as it is too dry and cannot squeeze from the tube. I would like to squeeze it on the barrier as in the video but cannot due to the thickness of the paste.
I have an ileostomy and the Eakins around the stoma saved my life.... I have super sensitive skin that is easily irritated by adhesives. Hollister and Convatec are very good for me at least. 👍 I literally went thru hell the first 3 months until I found something that I could use. Now it's just a matter of changing it every week.
You can apply your immediately over the paste, no need to dry. To remove, itll just peel off with your bag (as long as it has been in place for at least a day). If your bags leaks right after using paste, get in the shower and let the water run over the paste as you begin peeling the bag off. It helps it become less sticky and helps remove it in one piece (rather than it being a big globby mess).
That's really what they're supposed to do. They expand when they come in contact with the output. For me I must use them to seal the area around the stoma.

This is my favorite paste!!! I've been using it my entire life could absolutely not live without it can't use anything else it's amazing
The stomahesive paste is great especially if you have little dips. I used it 27 years ago when I first had my stoma.

Is there a video that shows application?
How difficult is it to remove the paste when you change the appliance?
Hey! Thanks for sharing 👍 question, does the paste swell like the Hollister barrier rings?
Can you do a video on how to prep for a colonoscopy?????
How do you keep the stoma paste from hardening or sticking in the tube?
Hi, I put the tube in a bowl of warm water before I use it. It softens it up. Good luck.,

How do you remove the paste from the skin again and how long needs it to dry?
