My cat, Cally, who we unfortunately just had to put down two days ago due to late-stage kidney disease, absolutely loved this video. It had gotten to the point where she could be lying under a blanket in a deep sleep, and the second she heard the soundtrack to this video, she would spring awake and stare at the screen with wide eyes. No other videos would catch her attention like this one. I'm going to miss her so much.
This is my cat's favorite video. As soon as she heard the music, she comes running. EVERY TIME. She will search behind the TV looking for the mice, she'll chase them across the screen, try to climb the screen. She's not very playful with toys, but she goes crazy for this video.

Just want to say I used to visit this video a lot as one of my cats was crazy about it. Sadly, he left us a month ago and my heart has been absolutely broken since. My only cat now isn't interested in this video, he loves birds more than mice so I let him watch those sort of videos instead but yeah, my other cat loved this one. He would instantly know the video was playing by the sound and after a few moments watching the mice go from one side to the next, he would circle the TV, looking for where they were going lol He was quite old and his hearing wasn't great but he always heard this video. God I miss him so much.

Years later, and one of my cats is still highly addicted to those games. As soon as I get home, he is sitting in front of my Cat-TV and waits for games to start.

I taped a rectangular pane of acrylic over my monitor to eliminate screen scratching. Lilykeeps going BEHIND the monitor to look for the mouse/string/fish. She loves them all !!

My cat who is currently 9, L O V E S this one. He's memorized the intro theme, and he comes running when he hears it. We showed him this one when he was a baby and he stuck with it. He's now not easily amused by other cat games. Once I play this video and then have to do my work or other things, he stays around my computer as if he thinks I'm going to put it on again. He'll linger around my computer for the rest of the day when I don't keep playing it. Before the one hour version came out, we showed him the regular version. He loves them, and I'm glad the intro theme and everything in it is the same or else I'd have to be repeating the video over and over lol.

Used my old Wifi only/no service phone, and also a touch-blocker app. Kittens love it for like 20 minutes, and then get frustrated they never catch anything. One kitten is determined to get her paws under the screen to get it, another keeps sitting on the screen biting the phone case

My cat loves this! But he loves it too much. He is constantly attacking my laptop now and when the tv is on he jumps at the screen. I'm afraid he's going to pull the whole thing down on top of him. It was fun, but can't let him watch it anymore. Too dangerous.
Used my old Wifi only/no service phone, and also a touch-blocker app. Kittens love it for like 20 minutes, and then get frustrated they never catch anything. One kitten is determined to get her paws under the screen to get it, another keeps sitting on the screen biting the phone case
