Each switch-track combination is called an iNTERLOCK...And they are usually lettered, numbered or nicknamed after a nearby point of interest.
    For example:
[18:30] "CP 261" MNRR's Waterbury Branch (viewed from RIGHT SIDE of car) connects to the New Haven Line south towards Stratford Station via the Housatonic River Bridge.
[46:43] "CP 241" MNRR's Danbury Branch (viewed from RIGHT SIDE of car) connects to the New Haven Line south towards South Norwalk Station.
[57:23] "CP 235" MNRR's New Canaan Branch (viewed from RIGHT SIDE of car) connects to the New Haven Line south towards Stamford Station.
[1:29:10] "CP 112" MNRR's New Haven and Harlem Lines merge south into Woodlawn Station.
[2:21:20] "JAY" Allows access for most eastbound LIRR trains (all except Port Washington Branch trains) into Jamaica Station.

3:38:16 Bellport originally could fit that whole 5 car train you was in but low ridership truncated it to only build a 1 car high platform. The 1980s signage can be seen a few hundred feet west of the current platform...it almost got closed down in 1997

The art form, the production design, the powerful acting, the flawless directing and the exquisite costumes…this motion picture will go down in cinematic history as a true masterpiece of the art, one of the greatest too.
as a mcdonalds chicken nugget myself, i can totally relate to the pain, struggle, sadness, and anger from this mcdonald’s nugget spinning gracefully in front of my eyes. shoutout to all my chicken nugget peeps out there, doesn’t matter if you’re from chickfila, burger king, wendys, jack in the box, mcdonald’s, or anywhere else.

I am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was 1:12. That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 6:34 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece , I was brought to tears listening to this and seeing the bacon go whirly swirly in a circle countless times. it absolutely moved my soul , and I don't think I can ever be the same. this bacon has changed my entire mental state , I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. i have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. I will move on , gotta move on , as the song says. the bacon is so inspirational , it shares it vast wisdom with all of us , and we are all so lucky that it would bestow it's great words with us. we are all children on bacon. hail bacon. hail bacon. The spinning bacon, rotating in one direction with this music... This made me tear up. How could such a bacon do such a thing? I'm struck by awe by this masterpiece. Especially when the bacon spins, showing its lightly salt covered tan skin. I can hear the crunch just from here, and so as the beautiful sound of the bacon scraping the dark, smooth velvet floor. The flavor, music and everything can be heard, tasted, seen and felt from a screen. You can really hear the breaths between the music artist, empathizing her love for this rotating bacon. Truly what I call modern art. This was the most legendary performance by any piece of bacon I have ever watched. The acting was top tier and very life changing. This is one of the greatest work from a piece of bacon I have ever seen especially on 57:42.I am currently crying so hard right now. The graphics, the animation, the music, so much thought was put into it. This has remined me that you can do anything you put your mind to. Not even mentioning the memories, this makes me feel like an infant again, just laying my eyes on this beautiful masterpiece gives me all the good feelings in life. I also understand what happiness is again from this. Not even to mention the most incredible part that is 2:10. Bacon spinning has changed my life for the better. I've done it from my home station of Derby Shelton on the Waterbury branch to Montauk from 513am to almost 11am. Not easy at all. Took the return train 3 hours later from Montauk out to New Haven.
Both NH trains were the Super Express specials so travel time wasn't as long but still long. Total round trip time overall was damn near 11 hours.

I’ve ridden the New Haven line to and from New Haven since I went to get pizza at the original Frank Pepe’s but got on the train at New Haven-State Street instead of New Haven-Union transferred at Stamford twice one heading to New Haven and one heading to Harrison. Also I’ve ridden it from Mount Vernon East to Rye and also from Harrison to Stamford. I’ve take the LIRR to and from Mets-Willets Point one train from Grand Central directly to Mets-Willets Point and one from Mets-Willets Point to Woodside transferred from the train to Penn Station at Woodside and took a train to Grand Central from Woodside and then took Metro North back to Crestwood after taking one from Crestwood to Grand Central

    • @HarrisonPeloso
      @HarrisonPeloso 11 месяцев назад

that would take way to long for a round trip, 3 hours from montauk and nearly 3 to Wassaic. its one thing to cheat in stamford and take the Ibus but if starting at the very end of LI and going to Wassaic sure its a nice ride but not a lot of trains going toward NYC and a switch is required and that could take some time.

Now if expense wasn’t an issue and the goal was just to create the most insanely long mass transit journey in the NY metro area, I’m thinking it would look something like:
      1. MNR from GCT to Bridgeport
      2. Ferry to Port Jefferson
      3. LIRR to Penn Station
      4. NJ Transit/MNR to Port Jervis

  • @TriStateRailfannerJL99963

That’s a super inconvenient way to travel. And it’s much more expensive. Train service to Montauk isn’t as frequent as other lines, so timing is everything.
