As far as the biblical parable; the point is the contrast between a very small seed, and the large plant that grows in less than a year, was the goal. It was meant to support the idea that from a humble beginning, a great work can follow. The “size” of initial faith wasn’t an indication of its final worth. The growth, under proper conditions, was the lesson.

That is often said because there is a Bible verse which mentions having faith as small as a mustard seed. It was likely the smallest seed the audience was familiar with at the time. French's mustard is the best
I wish I knew how they made the onions that are used by McDonald's and Hot Dog Charlie's and Famous Lunch in Troy NY
There is something really unique to the onions and no onions are like them.
I have seen what they do to prepare
The onion " flakes " are in a big brown bag
The night before they take a huge metal bowl or a large 1/2 gallons metal tub
They pour in the bag of onion flakes and then pour in distilled water and ice chips
The bowl or tub is filled to the top and then put in a commercial refrigerator at 38 degrees F.
    They are left overnight
Through the night the onion flakes slowly absorb the water and the ice keeps the temperature very close to freezing.
By 11 AM the next day the onion flakes have absorbed all the water and the onions are a consistency that are perfect.
They are easy to chew and snap as you bite them and they are the same size
They taste better than any onions I have had
Now the homemade onion rings are made using large Vidalia onions and they cut them each morning and they use an egg wash and I believe flour and breading crumbs of some sort
There is absolutely nothing in the world like the mini hot dogs that you can only find in Troy New York at Famous Lunch or hot dog Charlie's or Gus's
these are small little hot dogs just a little bit bigger than a cocktail Frank and they are on their own special mini buns and the hot dogs are made locally by a company called Humbold's in Troy New York.
They cook them on a flat iron grill and they have the buns in a steamer and they put the works on them by default and The works consists of French's mustard, the special reconstituted onions and a special meat sauce that I believe is made also buy Hembolds
These mini hot dogs have a natural casing and a taste that is unlike anything you've ever had and they are hands down the best hot dogs I've ever had and people go and have a dozen of these for lunch with the homemade onion rings or the homemade french fries
The other places that only exists in Troy New York are fish fry places that have a long strip of haddock that is deep fried and put on a hot dog roll with either cocktail sauce or ketchup or tartar sauce or the signature sweet chili sauce which is a green pickle sauce mixed with ketchup
They also have clam strip rolls and scallop rolls and they are all phenomenal
I have tried so many times to make these Fish Fry at home and I cannot duplicate it no matter how hard I try
I have even ordered the kit from Hembolds with the mini rolls and the mini hot dogs and I have tried using onion flakes and left them in the fridge overnight with the water and ice and I can't duplicate what they do at Famous Lunch in Troy NY.
If you ever get to Upstate New York in the Albany area you absolutely owe it to yourself to go to famous lunch and to go to Ted's Fish Fry and to try the mini hot dogs and the fish fry with the sweet chili
No one who I've ever introduced to these items has had anything but great things to say about these food items
In trying to figure out how this area and only this area came to have these food items the fish was because the area was almost exclusively Irish Catholic and Italian Catholic and I remember that on Wednesday and Friday and Sunday and all through lents you could not eat meat
During Lent the waiting line around the Ted's Fish Fry would be 3 hours
They have trucks that they drive to the fish market in Boston every morning they leave at 10 PM at night, arrive. At 4am, load up with haddock, clams and scallops and drive back for 11 AM and begin prepping the fish by hand
I have lived in Maine and traveled down the coast from Maine to Florida and nowhere else have I ever seen a fish fry place
During the summer months from memorial Day to Labor Day there are about 200 roadside stands in the Albany-Saratoga region that sell the fish fries and they are not as good as Ted's and there are about 200 restaurants that sell the fish fry on Fridays year-round
It is amazing how many people eat fish on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
I used to eat there twice a week at least before I moved away.
I really miss the fish fry and the mini hot dogs
Other places sell hot dogs, even mini hotdogs, but they are terrible
I don't know what it is about Hembolds but they are the greatest hot dogs I have ever had.
    ❤❤❤❤
I hope you get a chance to try them

@ I see adults use ketchup and I always smh. I own a hotdog store in cape may nj and we are open 8 months out of the year and we have so many hotdog recipes and toppings. In the summer there’s legit 20 people deep in line. It’s not an “eat in” restaurant . It’s a window walk up . We have over 125 combinations and 48 kinds of condiments. And we also sell fries shoe string style that’s always crispy and any toppings for that as well. My business makes an and has become a landmark. My all beef hotdogs are made in house. All that being said, we do not carry ketchup and I will never put it on a hotdog . It’s like a crime to me. When a customer asks for ketchup , we just say that we don’t carry ketchup and never will.

"French" mustard is made in France. "French's" mustard is made in Springfield Missouri. A typical mustard container uses 1,000 mustard seeds, not 10 million as the narrator stated. These are not translation errors, and this is no boating accident. The narrator must be trolling,....right?
