Yeah, I'm in Montreal, we had one of those here in March that was protested and spun by our media in the same way. The SPVM (our cops) denied having any responsibility in stopping such an illegal event. We even had local journalists refused entry to the event because they were not Jewish, which I'm pretty sure goes against some Canadian anti-discrimination law.
