This Ikea is bigger than the one in Shenzhen and it has ample parking space. The one in Shenzhen has to share parking area with a Metro and Decathlon Sporting Goods store.
I think the Ikea stuff is going for a premium because it's "European", even though most of it, if not all is made in China. Just like how Walmart in China is not a cheap place to shop. Ikea in the US is so cheap.
Hahaha I was in IKEA Shenzhen Sunday!!! The meatballs were fantastic (for the price)!!! And was very tempted by a 4K vari-desk!!! IKEA... where you forget what you went in there for after 3 steps!
Greetings from 🌵.☺.The Swedish meatball are good so is the Salmon.Don't forget to get the Gooseberry jelly on your next trip.

I remember that "gamer" setup that you mentioned. I used to have that desk haha.

@@WalkaboutRojo it did actually. It took up too much space I opted to get a flat wood one instead. Much less tacky!

It's odd, because of the stuff in there is very expensive, but other things are very cheap. You have to be careful.

Any flooding in your area? Hope your Nio is fine.
that is very true. Notice i didn't bring the gf with me... i had to protect my wallet.
Bro, you should pronounce IKEA as eee-keh-yah (the company's own pronunciation).
Interesting, i didn't know that. Even in all the TV commercials in the states they pronounce it with a long I.
Hi Rojo, Are you teaching on campus yet?
Not yet! I'm not expecting to be back in the classroom until the fall.
IKEA ’s food is cheap and delicious, and the food area is only at the exit. His founder is really too good at doing business.
it really is an interesting business model; i remember doing a case study on it in grad school.
