Time Management was my biggest learning curb. I found it doesnt matter how well you think you got yourself streamlined as far as your deck.. you can get overwhelmed fast or be locked out of an objective if you dont pay attention to that. I remember how flustered I first got when I realized there was nothing I could do to complete an objective bc I let things get out of control.
All good tips. I agree that there isn't one character that is way above another, nor any that are usless. You said you weren't crazy about Spiderman, but I love him. He is by far the best at using the environment. His card buffing environmental damage and making two environmental actions free is nice. You are basically getting mumltiple attacks out of one card play.
@@LC356Spider-Man actually Isn’t meant for much DPS to single targets. He works very well as a mob sweeper. His Chain strike when upgraded can take down up to 4 enemies. He can also be utilized to clean up the enemies that survived big attacks. He clears the board pretty fast when using his attacks. He works very well as a support too. Some of his best cards generate big Heroism. During one match I went from 2 Heroism to 10 very quickly. He shines more when his cards are upgraded and modded, if they aren’t then you are correct he falls short compared to others very fast. His knock backs work nicely with Magik
@@LC356 He is definitely situational. He can be a bit of a drag on a spread out map with no environmental options. Or, he can clear a map on one round. I have seen both.
Spiderman is also great for mobility. His special delivery is great to reposition enemies between you and an ally. And he can move around the map several times between environment and extra moves. This comes in very hand. I usually use him as a mob sweeper but I will definitely bring a support and tank character. Him and ghostride play very well together.
I'll add to this, having quick is important, but also having someone who can apply mark is key. Having Strange back up Iron Man so he can nail Air Support is, in my opinion, the best card in the game. The only thing that can rival it is Hulks World Breaker. And knocking enemies into other teammates will help you cycle threw your deck to get to a card you might be looking for, like another quick.
You can get around the quick attack thing if you have marked. But honestly having both is essential for vampire missions. Make sure Blade is modded before doing the morbius and second dead piol mission or u WILL have to save scum like i did. And that sucks for immersion!
I dont understand why ppl hate the card system, like they never played Pokemon before. Its such a simple system... i dont even think of them as cards when you can build whatever the hell you want. The "cards" at this point are just an aesthetic choice. No different than the attacks in Xcom, aside from being MORE customizable.
Although i will admit that deck management for all those heroes can get fucking daunting. This isnt the best game to unwind with immidiately after a hard day at work. Xcom i can jump in whenever the heck i want.

Fair enough. Although I think when it comes time to actually deal damage he can be one of the worst in the game depending on the environments.

Super useful. Thanks!
Thanks for checking it out!
Lot of depth to this combat great system they have here
Thank you 🙏 liked and subscribed for your time
Excellent!
I can’t believe you said Captain Marvel wasn’t a damage dealer. Only Hulk and Iron Man have more innate damage potential than a binary Captain Marvel.
Hadn't upgraded her Cards to the Plus Version yet - I have seen the light
