What I do w shit I haven’t used yet, is I keep the tags on and you can just give them away as gifts! I have a bunch of fuzzy socks and unopened chapsticks that I haven’t used so I just keep them in a bin for whenever I need them for myself or I want to give them away😊

I FEEL you on not being able to stop- I will be annoyed AF trying to organize my “stuff” because I can’t get it all in one area (lotions, perfumes, skincare, haircare, candles) and I say “no more” but then a coupon code comes out - UGH! Ironically I used to only buy clothes and shoes, no perfume or body sprays, but now I hate shopping for clothes because nothing is quite perfect- like I hate ruffles, boho style ( it looks bad on me but I love it on others and am jealous at how effortless they look - I just look like I’m playing dress up).

Whenever you feel the need to shop and spend tons of money maybe stretch a little or try to do something calming like color. Ever had an adhd assessment? Adhd causes people to seek dopamine. It can also cause OCD, which if you do have adhd could be coming through in your “collecting” like Ike if you have 1 body spray, you feel like you have to have the whole collection. It is very common for people with adhd to also have addictive tendencies because the dopamine seeking behavior. I got diagnosed at 28 last year after being misdiagnosed with bipolar 2 for over 10 years. I had what seemed like hypomanic episodes …the adhd can definitely cause that feeling/behavior. Your brain is moving so fast and trying to process so many thoughts sometimes it all just hyper spills out. I hope you do get some answers soon since it seems to be troubling you. Never hurts to talk to someone. Keep us updated if you want ❤️

I do the same thing..I worry so much about getting the perfect gift that I get overwhelmed (adhd) and I end up procrastinating and getting them nothing because I’m nervous it won’t be good enough.. You’re not a bad person, probably just overwhelmed and like I mentioned in my last comment..if it’s a task that seems very important or takes a long time to think about..adhd is paralyzing and makes it harder to do said task. Important tasks that might seem simple to some people can become paralyzing.
