I can't believe it's been 3 years since I last went to Ramadan Nights Lakemba - that was the first time I tried Camel Burger & Turkish Sand coffee. I got the opportunity to visit again and it was so the atmosphere was amazing. Food was delicious too - if you go and can only try one that, I would recommend that you give the Knafeh at Yummy Yummy ago - it is absolutely delicious.
We also checked out a cute cafe/ tea spot in Chatswood called tea journal - they have the most amazing chiffon cake - rose lychee is my favourite at the moment but I've heard black sesame is pretty good too.
Hope you enjoyed this Sydney weekly vlog!

I feel like such a voyer... watching the amazing videos and knowing I will (NEVER) most likely end up in Australia at any point in my life, other than in my dreams. You have such a vast variety of choices in SOOOO many venues as far as food is concerned. That is really kind of rare in Main Street America. Maybe in the bigger cities... but I'm thinking on average... VERY rare! But as I've said before, I can live vicariously through you and your experiences. Thank you so much for such amazing content and video. Wish we had "Smell-a-vision"! :)

I gotta say I'm pretty excited as I'm from Malaysia so during this time, I always look forward to grabbing some of the delicious food from the Ramadhan bazaar near my area. Yup definitely get the seafood soy sauce. We will often steam a whole barramundi with chinese cooking wine, ginger and green onion. Then towards the end of the cook add the sauce on top and let it cook a little longer before serving. It's a great flavour and combines well with the ginger, onion and natural fish flavour.

Congrats on hitting 60k subscribers! If you ever go back to Tea Journal you should try one of their Chinese teas. They offer unlimited hot water refills. Dong Ding Oolong and white peony are good options.
Defs recommend getting the Ichiran box. Very pricey for instant noodles but I think it hits the spot if you're craving ramen at home. Tastes similar to the restaurant. Just make sure you don't add too much of the spice, it's quite spicy.

The instant ichiran ramen is close to the real ramen but obviously not at the same level as the real one. Make sure you dress it up with pork, egg, chives, etc to make it taste closer to the real thing. That red powder though is exactly the same as the one in the restaurant - which means it's quite spicy so try before you put them all in.

Basically that seafood soya sauce is standard soya sauce with extra sugar. If you tasted the soya sauce on a steam fish in big Chinese restaurants, that’s about the same. I wouldn’t bother buying a new bottle, just add sugar to your sauce when you garnish your steamed fish
