I cried
This guy is more interested in making the video than living the actual moment. I live 8000 miles from my parents. I surprised them once too and thought of capturing the moment on camera. But that moment was far too precious to keep thinking about the camera and the angles.
That's a fair way to think about it. But I am a photographer, so it is just natural to have a camera on me. I was also able to save and share this awesome moment - we still cry and laugh looking back at it a year later, and it will be around for my kids, kids, kids.
