The butt stock has a sling loop built onto it. I just slipped a thin nylon strap on, then attached a carabiner, it clicks right onto my vest or my bandoleer depending on what I am doing. I found that to be a very economical solution to the strap issue, so as to leave the lower rail open for more tactical attachments such as an under barrel bayonet, also by only using the butt stock strap, you have less pull down when going from the carrying position to the firing position. If your vest has epulettes you can clip the strap right to that and have your rifle at the ready for tactical situations, as it keeps the butt stock right at your shoulder. But considering that this is an air rifle, tactical anything is right out. Air rifles are for target practice and scaring away home invaders. This was a great review, and I appreciated your tips on the oil. I want to put oil on the bolt, and charging handle also, but never considered putting them on the Co2 cartridge. Of course it makes the most sense.
Bolt catch/release. To remove that stock just pull the locking lever outward. There's no need to remove the flat head bolt. Although you can loosen or tighten it to make the stock catch improved.
Excellent Rifle if I could afford it I would definitely get this one. I really enjoyed watching the bolt go back and forth. The bullet holes is a nice touch. Definitely a excellent video as usual Poul thumbs up. I will be waiting for your next video. Take care and happy Easter
Same bro. Thank you! If you can get like 70% of the money I could help you out with the rest bro. You don't have to repay me. You already do by leaving awesome comments all the time. Just hit me on Messenger. I got you
Good video editing, that's a bolt catch I just got mine today I haven't tested it but usually if you push down below the paddle you can lock the bolt back. To remove the stock like any AR rifle just pull that lever outward. I got this as I'm getting rid of my airsoft M4 which I think actually shoots harder than this but yet I have not tested it.
Yo BTW always check my descriptions. The link is there. I know nobody really reads descriptions anymore, but I put links to everything on every video description for you all.
@@replicagunreviews8922 Ok sweet man. I’ve been wanting to get one like that. Thanks. Keep up the great vids ! Gosh dang it that front grip and flashlight is in stock on May 28th 😥
Thanks for the vid. It was super helpful since the paper instruction with the gun is a small font so harder for older folks to read it. Not sure what you put on the C02 cartridge when loading. Was that a dot of oil? Would a small can of WD40 be okay? I am very new to this stuff to hope my question doesn't have you fall out of your chain. Thanks again.. Very helpful.
I went with the R1 because the stock looks cheap on the DPMS. Lol. And besides, it takes milspec AR stocks. I have a few different ones in the bin box.
But yeah I'm literally going to do every .177 caliber gun I can. I still have about 30 to review 12 unboxings prerecorded etc so I'll do that one asap. Eventually I'm even going to buy the crap guns under 40 bucks to review
Lol in response to one of the comments I removed regarding a reply from Liam. I have dropped what I'm selling on a few videos regarding the crosman R1. I have sold quite a few airsoft guns as well as real milsim magazine fed Big boy paintball guns that are used by law enforcement agencies as an example for training purposes. Not no Tippmann M4 clone. I'm a collector and between two safes own over 10 real steel firearms. But it's not like I can go outside in my community lol with my real M4 and shoot targets. As I don't live in the country that would not go over very well nor would I do so. I see this gentleman is a collector as well, I know my WE TECH M4 CQBR and everything I'm including would run $450-$500 all day and is way more realistic than the R1 in every sense by being full metal, field stripping damn near like my real M4 ECT. But as I really don't have any more room I want it to go to somebody who can appreciate it as I did as it was well taken care of. So why own that or the R1 now when I own many real firearms like an M4 that I customized everything you could customize on??? As I stated lol I can't take a real firearm outside and start shooting this I can, as I try to prepare for everything you would be quite amazed with some of the things I own even including real flash bangs lol it's good to be prepared for multiple situations. There are a lot of children in my neighborhood let's say one is being attacked by a stray dog as I've seen many in my area I would feel more comfortable engaging with the R1 versus letting 5.56 rip even though I'm a dead on shot as I've been doing this for years I've even instructed and ran classes. So ya when I see someone take the time to make a video and take interest in things like this I would rather it go to someone who knows what they're doing and will take care of it. Also if you choose you can use one CO2 in the first part versus using two. Either way a good video man, shoot safe and keep building up your collection.
So do you think he has a mag issue with his? What causes his first mag to decock like that? I saw another video where a guys was doing the same, but when he shot it with only one co2, never had the issue
@@EricQNava I notice a lot of guys dont field strip it for some reason..thats what your suppose to do before even shooting these...strip it and give it a proper cleaning and relube as crosman puts too much grease in the charging area

What is the bolt catch release supposed to be used for?
I love the gun shots in it
Thanks bro. Next review I'm going to do the usual, but I'll try to get different angels too.

What front grip is that? Does the flashlight come with it? Will it fit on the DPMS ? Can you put a link down here? Thanks man.

Red dot looks proper cheap, defo change that. I'd put a 1 point tactical sling on it
Exactly Cyrus. I just have to put a couple hundred at least into a good sight.
@@replicagunreviews8922 🤣😂 nah, not that much, 60/70
To take the butt stock off just lift up on the lever instead of pushing down just get it to the last position and lift up on the lever.

I have an R1 and I cannot find a vertical grip to fit. My bottom rail.
Can it operate with a single CO2 cartridge?
Not a fan of the bullet holes really but otherwise its pretty legit.
I prefer the DPMS, stock looks a bit cheap on the R1
Yeah same.
The r1 is just a better gun internally

@@92JoseR Ha no chance, the DPMS stock is proper solid, R1 stock so flimsy, a lot weaker my cousin has it
@@cyrusshellard3905 I just like how you can put regular AR stocks on it. M4 stocks suck even on real ARs.
