I'm finally heading back up to Story Land this upcoming week (for the first time since pre-COVID), so this list is very helpful for figuring out what I should prioritize. Thanks!
@@MooseVR-878 Insider info: Crazy Barn is permanently gone but Turtle Twirl will be brought back at some point in the future (it still exists but just had to be moved)
It’s really nice that you always mention the carousel if a small park has one! The german carousel manufacturer is “Heyn” and many european carousels are based off of/are Heyns, Strangely, there is one heyn like no other, A hybrid PTC/Heyn in New Jersey!
Splash battle is great, but it’s always so cold! Lol NH’s white mountains don’t get that hot, even during the equinox! Even more puzzling is the nearby ho-ho-h20 at Santa’s Village. I swear I saw some actual ice bergs on my way down one of the body slides. At least StoryLand had the courtesy to not theme their already-cold water ride to snow and ice.
My favorite rides here are Roar-O-Saurus and the Splash Battle... but upvoted for the Buccaneer Pirate Ship. That was easily my kid's favorite ride at the park when she was very little. The great thing about Story Land is that while it's a kiddie park with only one real thrill ride, there are essentially no kiddie rides, per se--they're all family rides that parents and children can share.
I want to go here so muc h The theming of the rides would make me smile so much if I visited. I enjoyed the cute pig in the pig pen at the beginning and the corn that moves and of course the Panda lume. Them 2 coasters look like really fun credits too. Great vid.
I revisited Story Land just a few days ago after a couple years of not going, and it was even better than I remembered. Story Land, Santa's Village, and Canobie Lake Park made up my childhood.
I remember when Polar Coaster was the Iceburg Roller coaster and there was a pole that was frozen outside the attraction! Does anyone else remember the giant ball pit with slides just outside the nursery rhymes area? I LOVED Journey to the Moon! It was so unique. Wish that would make a comeback. When did they close the Storyland Queen? I used to like that boat ride when the Prince was turned in to a frog. Then the story was changed to the butterfly island. Farm Follies had the cutest music. That park will always hold a special place in my memory and my heart!
4:15 I remember I tried spraying the ride attendant and he blocked the. Sprayer and took out a giant nerf. Water gun and sprayed it at us. It was funny.
I don't know why but these types of parks for some reason they give me a lot of peace of mind, heck you could even shoot a music video there although definitely a park that would definitely serve for a music video would be movieland park in Italy and I hope and you review that park is small but has so many unique attractions
I really hope I can get to this park this summer to ride the nearby Rudy's Rapid Transit. It might just be one of the world's best children's parks, wouldn't you agree(OK I know you already said it right at the beginning🙃)? I made a proposal for one of my parents to take me there.🤞
If 21, They offer nostalgian nights on Saturdays in July this year, and it is a 21 plus event that they keep the park open for 5 hours in the evening for adults. I went there last year for this and I am going again this year!
I loved going here with my family as a kid! Really disappointed to hear they gutted the safari ride though. That gorilla taking a shower has been embedded in my memory since I was 4 years old! Thanks for making this
Loved Storyland as a kid ! Great memories 👌
Such a nice park.

You're welcome!
I was SO scared of crazy barn as a kid 😂
I liked it from day one.
SAMESSSSS
Crazy barn is gone now 😭
Turtle twirl is also gone in 2024

I like the classic and/or weird ones.

I find it comfortable in summer.
I got soaked 😭😭 random people were shooting water at me from the outside

It is an amazing kids park.
When i was 3 I went on the Roar-O-Saurus🥲

It really is a charming park.
Voyage to the moon was my favorite as a kid, so bummed when it went away. The pirate ship ride was also my jam lol
It's a shame Voyage to the Moon was removed.
Last trip to Story Land was right before COVID with some family so my niece could go for the first time. Need to get back there!
It's a fun park.
the animatronics in cuckoo clockenspiel are absolutely incredible!
Especially for a standard flat ride like that.
That looks really nice
It is!

I'm not sure when some of the classic rides closed, but I loved them as a kid.

A lot of rides here have their own custom soundtrack.
Can you do the top ten rides at palace play land in Maine
I would like to get back to get Sea Viper footage before doing my Palace Playland videos.
Okay

Having this park and Santa's Village just a 1 hour drive from each other was amazing as a kid.

Are you going to Nostalgia Night this year?
I do not have plans.
Polar Coaster: First
Roar-o-Saurus: Went on it when 6 and to this day, I haven't ridden it because of the bumpiness
Well then you must not like wooden coasters. It’s rough around the edges but isn’t close to painful and is on the smoother side
I find it fairly smooth minus the far turns.
Roar o saurus is the best ride here
Absolutely
Parks like thi make me want to open a fun land
It's a great little park.
I loved going here with my family as a kid! Really disappointed to hear they gutted the safari ride though. That gorilla taking a shower has been embedded in my memory since I was 4 years old! Thanks for making this
The old safari was a classic.
BTW, RRT is retiring soon
Oh it is?
Runner up is flying fish it’s so fast
I found it a bit slow for that type of ride.
So first place is dead last for me
Oh
Let just say, my storyland experience was not good
Sorry you had a bad time. I have always had a good experience.
