I think an under talked about part of the Kanye career narrative has been his substance abuse and addiction problems. I think it’s been overlooked because he’s not like most rappers who will flaunt their drugs in most of their songs and there’s a perception Kanye is crazy even without drugs but from behind the scenes stories and stuff he’s even said himself over the years I believe he is a severe functional alcoholic, sex addict and I’m not surprised if this new addiction is true as well.
It’s very sad because he’s been an addict under the radar for years and that cycle is very hard to break, especially if finding God and his kids didn’t give him enough motivation to quit.
