It's called Sungnyemun Gate which was the big entrace of Gyeongbokgung Palace in Joseon Dynasty, long the way back to the Seoul history. This beautiful gate has been there since the Joseon Dynasty, and many tourists visit there nowadays. If you come to Seoul, I'll be your tour guide!!!!! It's my hounor:))

I know they all look good but why Seokjin, Taehyung and Yoongi looks extra good on Butter performance. Especially Yoongi with that blue outfit and blonde hair.
I've watched the performance soo many times already that even when the video is blurred I can understand every single bit and can still recognize each of the boys!
I'm always being amazed how taehyung sing those high notes effortlessly amazing. When he's a baritone singer... We really forget that always he'd singing 90% out of his comfort zone... Legend

I cannot argue with that 🥰 [more tips] When they performed Idol and Sowoozoo for Jimmy Fallon Show, Idol was performed inside the Palace and in front of Geunjeongjeon(근정전 Hall of the Palace) where the king used to conduct state affairs, and sowoozoo (Mikrokosmos) was performed inside Gyeonghoeru(경회루) - a building (pavilion) used for entertainment when important foreign visitors visited the palace. So they performed in all three different places

Having to rise again after overcoming adversity during the pandemic A performance that gives hope to the world (Because of the fire, I think I purposely sprayed water on the floor before the special effects.)

That’s one of the busiest sections of downtown Seoul so it’s quiet at night. I’m sure they got the permits and recorded it in the wee hours of the morning. Coincidentally, have you seen Lizzo’s cover of Butter on BBC Radio One? It’s fire.
I love that Sammy is freely expressing that Jhope is his bias; but at the same time appreciative of all the boys individually. No member is being ignored unlike other reactors.
This performance recorded at 1-2am. At that time there was a notice traffic was temporarily closed on that district. So ppl should have detour that area. After watch this performance, now we get it why the street was closed that day. Lol.. it was BTS.
Hey Sammy plsss check out Måneskin at Global Citizen live. All their performances are on the Global Citizen Channel, My fav performances of the show were “For your love”, “Zitti & Buoni” two of their original songs and their covers of “Beggin” and “Bury a Friend”. They did a great show ❤️🔥
This is how they do it. They have to get a city permit to perform in the street and near and on the temple. I mean they were dancing in the street under the stop lights and up inside the temple. So because they get a city permit. Then they have to get the police involved to block off the streets and temple (South Great Gate) area. And they film in the middle of the night ....when there is less traffic. (They filmed On at Grand Central Station in NYC at 3 in the morning.) And the police make traffic drive an alternate route. It is not easy to get all their production crew there.... lighting, sound, camera, hair, makeup, wardrobe, and water and food tables...it's a big deal. So you do ask a good question....how do they do that???? It takes lots and lots of BTS crew and city officials to pull it off. It looks like they are alone. But as you know if you turned the camera around...you would see hundreds of people. And they take lots of "takes" and lots of shots...so they can edit a perfect performance. They do sing live, but they edit it together to play it on tv. Here is how you can tell. When they are singing "PTD"...Jin is having a wardrobe malfunction. It's not a big one, but noticeable to a trained director. His blue tie he is wearing...half of it gets stuck up on his shoulder. Then the next minute...you see it back in it's proper place. They corrected and edited it several times...but then finally just gave up and let his tie do it's own thing. I have a background in production so I see these things right away. A wardrobe person should have fixed that. I little safety pin to pin in place...or...a little bit of tack sewing. ..or even tape would have worked. Interesting enough, Jin had a wardrobe malfunction when they filmed at the UN. His white shirt became untucked during his dancing outside. They did a cut and edit and fixed his shirt. But it came out again...and they just let it go. This type of training ....using a sharp eye.... is used in Every production. It's called continuation. It has to be perfect. Items, props, wardrobe, lighting, set pieces, and almost anything can move from one shot to the next...it has to be in the same place. This is one disadvantage in being a trained production person...no matter what video, or stage production, or tv show, I see the mistakes immediately. So when I watch a film I rate them on this factor. If there are no continuous problems...say for example in a movie I am watching...I award the perfect movie with a Flawless ranking. An example..watch Judy Garland in Wizard of Oz. When she leans back in the hay bail singing Somewhere over the Rainbow...then gets back up. A piece of straw is sticking out of her hair. No one caught that. They didn't do a retake. So it's in the movie and it is Not a Flawless movie. Most all of BTS videos are flawless. When I first discovered them I watched them for 6 months before I saw a choreography mistake!!! It was RM. Ha. BTS is the best.
