Watching the video brings back great memories. The egg coffee is the best. if you are still in Hoi An, you have to try the" mango" cake ( Banh Xoai) dessert sold on the street. It is made out of peanuts and sugar on the inside and sticky rice on the outside..No mango..lol..Keep up the good work!
Great job getting up early! I appreciate the effort. I miss Bourdain I also am a chef. So sad for his daughter. It's another reminder to live your best life and appreciate what you have. I recommend the Sapa region up north to get away from tourist crowds. It's so beautiful.

I believe cao lau is also very similar to mi quang and you can find it in other parts of 'Nam if you look hard enough since it's not as popular as pho.

Hoi An is nice but it has become too touristy and as such, too commercialize. You can tell by the increasing prices for everything in Hoi An.
