That tracker Rocks!! Honestly for those of us that have owned these NG's for years and beat on the regularly, it is not a surprise that it's a wicked good track car. Chassis is rock solid, Aero trim is firm but nimble in the corners with plenty of steering and chassis feel to let you know when things are about to go sideways. As long as oil and fluids are kept clean and cool, they will go hard forever.
I can tell you from personally owning and racing Saab 9-3's, they are fun if you build em right. I dislike racing my 9-3's on tarmac, but they come alive in rallycross. If you have never raced your Saab in rallycross you are missing out!
Love how people underestimate these cars I track race mine when I first went people were like a Saab? Well I got plenty of compliments on the car and came in 14th in my league. I can’t even take it to the car wash with out it being surrounded and 20 million questions asked. Great looking car mines not all decked out like that but running a stage 2 MPS tune
The engine in that car is almost unkillable, b207r. It's a GM LSJ 2.0 SC in Cobalt SS and Saturn Ion Redline. They make 500whp reliably with a s257 turbo swap. Reliability will never be an issue. The SC cobalt that ran into n time attack destroyed a 600whp Porsche and a Godzilla gtr.
Only constructive criticism, not meant to be mean but find a way to cancel out the wind noise because it really takes away from the important parts of the video. Nonetheless great content
I apologize. I’ve spent so much money on mic setups for both my cameras and it always ends up not working. Might just have to start from scratch with a new camera lol
I’m looking to buy my first car real soon and I have been looking really much on various SAAB’s (as a swede should!) and that includes your amazing channel as well! I’m currently leaning towards a 2007 9-3 2.0t, is that a solid choice?
Check the windows and the windshield trimd (they are quite expensive and hard to find) + they love to rust and you need to keep that in mind if you live in a place where there is salt on the roads in winther. I have a 2006 2.0 t and it is an awesome car, also very safe, but it drinks a lot😂
2007 is the best year you can get IMO- you get the new interior which is drop dead gorgeous, but you have the older body style so you can find body parts on the cheap

@@AutoAutopsy all good, not sure what you're shooting with but Rhode makes a good affordable hotshoe mount shotgun mic that comes with a deadcat. It'll help especially in the wind.
how can an automatic be considered a race car? maybe on big ovals and long tracks but a manual is better the minute corners come into it and my manual 9_3 loves corners.
no strut bar -auto trans-stage 2 or 3 ecu on stock motor- 345mm brakes from turbo x -catback exhaust system from krona and one coilover set??? thats not a serius race car!!!! i want one somethng like this with forged engine ! full katalog from whiteline-big turbo setup-76mm full exhaust system . at least 400-450 hp ! and of course manual transmission !!!!!!!!!!!
It's a car that is purpose built for a specific racing series, with a stripped out intetior and a full welded-in roll cage. It's as "racing car" as anything I suspect you've ever driven.
Big thanks once again to Elite Motors for showcasing the car on the channel! Apologies for the spotty audio in a couple of places, hope y’all enjoy!
thanks elite motors, maybe we can have another saab track day at ny safety track next year ,
That's an experience you won't ever forget! Bad-ass Saab indeed!
agreed! thanks!
This really makes me wanna do more mods to my saab
huehuehue

yeah! :)
nice job, thanks for taking video of my viggen convertible, finally have a good shot of me going around the track ,
Haha, glad you liked that. Pretty cool to see it from behind
Love it! I have on 86 9000T built to race production class. It has shocked many other drivers. Really shines in the rain
That’s awesome! 🔥
This gives me so much hope and inspiration for my build. I've got the same car, color and everything! So cool🤙🤙
Awesome 👏🏼
As a swede I feel a bit proud seeing that the car is full of the old logotype from the 1950ies.🥰👍🏻
😁🙌🏼

Beautiful saab i must say
it is!
Yep!
its auto.... wowzers
This looks like a real fun track for anyone but especially for a novice track driver.
agreed!
Happy Birthday Saab 9-3!!!!!!!!!!

I have videos discussing common issues with these cars; just do a search and you'll find some good info

Kyle Pancis is showing signs of having run a certain Porsche on the track a bit!
Nice driving dude!!
lol! he killed it
saab
:)
I cannot wait to bring my 9-3 to the track
same :)
Best track rims. Those things take a pothole beating and are nearly impossible to bend.
Trust me......XD XD
yeah those chevy steelies are pretty flimsy. First time I saw them, they looked totally sketchy(totally GM).
lol
The brilliant car!
😁😁
not quite unleashed🎵 decent note tho thanx K🔱d☯️S
Saab is already a Race Car when it first comes out the factory
no it's not
@@AutoAutopsy any car's a racecar with the right attitude lmao
Does the Saab Re-axis rear steering make any difference or provide any advantage on the track?
Good question. I didn’t think go pay attention to that. Sorry :(
It does in tight corners, i love that feature. Perfect for for street also, you can corner roundabouts really hard
its my guy's carr, nice car Jason.
great car and shop!
What’s the green coolant? I thought you could only use red?
you need to completely flush the system if you want to go to green - if they mix it can gel
yeah huge bummer for automatic but i guess it is more reliable for endurance races
yep, that's the point! :)
The track run would have been interesting with the "reverse" steering Saab.
Lol 😂
Is getting harder to find parts for Saabs or are they still being produced?
They are still being produced OEM.
@@AutoAutopsy no way really? like what?
I got a 1995 Saab 900s in great condition, where can I buy performance parts for it?
See this video. Same should apply to your car for it: ruclips.net/video/bjV78gxPoKw/видео.html
Bummer about the audio. Look into a deadcat for your mic.

Unfortunately I’ve used two of their mics already. Thanks for the suggestion haha
This build wants me to build a Saab track car
😁
I'm a Saab 9-5 Owner any Good Tuner in the Southeast Area of the us. Around Georgia Florida or the Carolinas

did you miss the part where he talked about keeping it reliable?
Godzilla had a stroke reading this, and fucking died.
