I wanna share you my situation so that you can be able to analyze it accordingly and it will be a great help and relief to me. I completed my diploma in 2015-2018 and joined in B tech in the year 2018 and after the 1st academic year (2018-19), I chose to work a State government job, which i got on Diploma basis. Since it is a government job, I took long leave to complete my B tech after working for 3 years in that job (2019-2022). At present I am in my final year of B tech. Will this be an obligation to get into IIM's though technically I dont have any gap years but i will be having a 6 year degree in my hand. Please respond bhayya. Thank you.
This is a genuine question, and is not a critique or insult to you or any other creator. But what I have noticed is too many of the top B school alumni are making content on RUclips or teaching on coaching companies. Why are so many of you choosing to quit your job, which I am assuming pays really well, and coming to RUclips which has very inconsistent source of revenue? Is it burn outs or is the job market really not as good as we think they are after an MBA?
@@SigmaChad-td7in content creation is usually as demanding as a 9-5 job, if not more. You also don't have any guaranteed incentive. How well the video will do also depends on lot of factors that's outside of one's reach. Why would a person working in a good company, in a good position with a good salary leave if my question, especially after taking lakhs in loan for an MBA.
If anyone has an option, people would choose to do something of their own. Also you get opportunity to build bigger things with more time for yourself. I would say the higher packages rather make it more difficult to let go and pursue something of your own since it's difficult to match the income.
Also to answer if the market is good, I still work and I cannot reveal the exact salary but it is around 40. So it's decent money for someone starting their career
Yes you can. Start with clearing basic concept videos from Mission CAT YT channel it will help you a lot . But just give 3-4 hrs a week for now till 4-5 months and in the mean time build your profile like participating in college competitions and voluteering in various events. Choosing PW for CAT is a total waste of money. Instead check Mission CAT YT channel there you will find 400+hrs of free video lessons from basics to advance level and use some good material or book to apply concepts learned from videos.
I am enrolled in pw and quant faculty might look too fast paced if you aren't good with the basics of quant. Lrdi is okay okay and varc is good. Will recommend looking for other alternatives if you can.

But I won't be able to take up job also so my this year would be counted as my gap year, so can you please tell me what I could do in this year apart from the job, so it doesn't count as gap year or even it does I am justifying that gap year. Go for it but don't prepare for any specific percentile. Just try to gradually improve every week! Don't put undue pressure from day 1

No they will not reject. It all depends on your CGPA but you have a chance with cat percentile
