Exploring Kuala Lumpur by train, Kajang to Kwasa Damansara

- In this Adventure with Bernie I spend half a day exploring Kuala Lumpur by train. I started at Bukit Bintang, travelled North to Kwasa Damansara, then to the Southern end of the line, Kajang. Beautiful trains, scenery and a delicious lunch. And great value for money.
Kwasa Damansara is the end of the line to the North, well on this section of the railway system. I got off the train there but didn't leave the station, there was nothing there really. At Kajang it was way more civilised, so I headed off on foot and had myself a typically delicious Malaysian lunch. It was an interesting 4.5 hours and cost me (for the train ride) under $5.

Nice tour, thankyou. Your thumbnails do stand out nicely, and the text looks really good. Will work on improving my thumbnails, with yours as inspiration! Thankyou 👍🙏🌲🦌
Oops! So sorry for the delay 🤦 I hope all is going well for you, take care 🙏
And a BIG thank you.
You made the mistake when trying to exit the station. You put the token and follow the green arrow which was on your left entrance but you went to the right entrance. The toilets in the stations are very clean and will be washed by cleaners often. This is the new line MRT3 which will be open fully on this March 2023 until the final station called Putrajaya where the famous pink mosque is located and a nearby biggest mall called the IOI City Mall. (From Singapore)
🤦 Thank you so much for giving me the explanation, it makes perfect sense now.
Toilets were very clean, they are a pleasure to use. It will be a wonderful when the system is completed. I was extremely impressed with the railway service!
Thank you for watching and making the time and effort to comment, I appreciate it. I do have more videos from Malaysia coming in the future.
All the best to you 🙏🤠
@@adventurewithbernie Enjoy yourself the train system when it is open in March. It will be a free of charge ride for a few weeks in order to promote the new line. Do ask the train station operator about the free ride to Putrajaya when it is open . Another thing about the outdoor activities in a tropical country, avoid the scotching sunlight at noon and afternoon. Locals prefer to take a walk in the morning from 7am to 9am and in the evening from 5pm to 7pm and enjoy the night walk in lighted areas.
I am not able to enjoy it for the present time. Perhaps in the future.
For now I am back in Australia and will recommence work next month. I love the heat. The temperature where I am headed for work will be low 40s 😎🤠
great sharing
Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed it 🙏
Ah Bernie, what a vlog. It's interesting to explore these places with you and see exciting new things from around the world! 🌎 ❤️ lunch looked lovely, wish we had smellovision! I'm not keen on bikes in my food, tho. I'm a fussy, so n so! Kat would smash that thought 😋 fab footage 📹
Hope you are well! Have a great weekend, Ceri and Kat 🌎🗺☕️👍🔔
I am very well thanks Ceri and Kat. Hope life is treating you well.
Exploring other countries is one of lifes great gems. It isn't always perfect, but hey, life is what you make it.
I don't mind large bones, the small ones can be annoying. But the flavour is magnifique.
Thank you so much for your kind words, I am very pleased you enjoyed it.
Take care and safe travels 🙏🤠
Interesting video my friend.
Greetings and have a good weekend.
Interesting 🤔 I'll take that, thank you 😃 I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment.
Take care and have a great weekend yourself 🙏
Nice video and great editing👏. Thanks for sharing. Also thanks that you didn’t share the full toalet scene😁
Thank you Jukka. The station was empty, I was NOT expecting anybody to be using the toilet 🤣

That is very generous, thank you 🙏
@@adventurewithbernie welcome.....no drama....nice tripp
I Djed a few times in Jakarta. Incredible place.
Nice one champ 👍
Thanks mate, was a nice way to spend half a day 🙏
Kuala Lumpur is still on my list one day.... It looked a bit smoggy or was that just an overcast weather day ?
Was interesting how you get the footage at the front of the train, you certainly can't do that in Australia...LOL. Does it mean they don't have drivers and automatic ?
Worth a visit Chris. Petronas Towers are very special, I will get a video out of my trip there at some point.
Air quality is quite good, it was overcast and we'd been having lots of rain. The trains are automatic, so on occasions you get the opportunity to get absolute front spot. Not necessary for every day travel, but awesome when creating vlogs 🤠🙏
@@adventurewithbernie The front section was really awesome for creating vlogs... the towers are definitely on my list :)
Unfortunately I lost all my photos from my visit to the Towers. But I do have the videos. Same with Batu Caves.
@@adventurewithbernie Such a shame but you still have your memories :)
@@AquariusTraveller My what?..... 🤣🤣
How was it navigating the train system? As someone who only speaks English I'm wondering how you got by.
Hiya Kovaction! 👋
English is not a problem in Malaysia. Their railway system is excellent, easy to understand, cheap, fast, clean and on time. It's a pleasure to use.
@@TeaInValhalla happy weekend! We're not traveling but there's plenty to edit up from other trips. What are you up to?
@@adventurewithbernie That's good to hear Bernie. Hey you should search RUclips handles. Yours has a 17 at the end of it and there's a good chance you could drop that and make a custom. You should do that as soon as you can. That is if you want to. We got rid of the numbers on the end of ours.
Sorry Chuck but I don't understand. Can you give that to me in layman's terms 😁
These new trains were designed by bmw
I did not know that, so thank you for enlightening me. I am not surprised though, as they are quality vehicles and very comfortable to ride in.
I was very impressed with the railway system, it was a pleasure to travel on 🙏
@@adventurewithbernie the last link mrt2, mrt3 will complete the klang Valley circle from kajang to putrajaya.
@@keangwooichoo6138 I imagine that will be a very enjoyable journey. Perhaps when I return to Malaysia I can find out.
projek mrt zaman perdana menteri najib memang sangat bagus... rindu perdana menteri najib... beliau perdana menteri yang sangat hebat dan bagus... beliau sangat bijak dalam bidang ekonomi
Unfortunately I don't understand 😢
Najib Jibbon Razak kaki rasuah, dah rompak dn samun wang rakyat ber-puluh2 bilion ringgit utk dio hidup bersama ahli keluarganya dlm kemewahan guna wang haram hasil rasuah.
@@bungaraya19082013 bro, may I give some advices
It is acceptable not to like Najib. But do respect his name. I don't know about what religion you adhere. I am a Muslim. And In Islam, We are not allowed to mock the name of another Human.
You can criticise but spare the insult on his name.
Whatever said about him,Najib modernised public transport..he built MRT and next month's the brand new MRT to Outrajaya will start operation. This MRT was initiates during his tenure.
He abolished the unbelievable crazy deal enforced against TNB tha treslured in TNB( electricity board) bled billions every year. Ever since the cancellation of such a lopsided deal, TNB achieves profits in Billion figure yearly.
He implemented GST in 2015 just when the oil price was tumbling down..
And not to mention ,he was telling the truth on donation form Saudi King.Ever wonder why the huge fund originated from Saudi Ministry of Finance
