Hunting Unsearched Wheat Cents - The Jim Beam Bottles - Episode 03

As promised, now that the channel has over 1,000 subscribers, we're going to start hunting the Jim Beam bottles full of unsearched wheat cents that I bought in early 2023. These bottles are a piece of local history. They came from a bar in Joplin, MO called the 18th Street Bar that closed down after the May 2011 tornado damaged the building it was housed in. The bottles were salved from the building and later sold to a local coin dealer. When I saw them at the local coin show, I couldn't resist taking them home! Judging from the dust and lint I found in the bottles, and the different dates of Memorial cents I found mixed in, I'm very confident they've never been searched! We hunted five rolls in this video, and there were some great finds! These bottles could prove to be epic!
