It’s great to see you back -and I love your blouse. You honestly don’t need to apologise or justify any purchases-its your money and your choice how to spend it, and it makes you happy.
It's lovely to see you back Rachel, we've missed you. Can't wait to see all your new fabrics made up, especially the jersey for the Nomi dress and the back pack.
I'm sooo pleased to see you back on my screen !! I've missed you. You have chosen some beautiful fabrics, I look forward to seeing your makes. Look after yourself xx
Your hair colour really suits you, sort of strawberry blonde, just enough colour to frame your face and give you warmth. Soft and beautiful, which is who you are. 🌹❤️
I love the color. It suits you well. After that type of surgery the immune system suffers a lot. I still take lots of Vitamin C, Zinc, Magnesium Citrate and Vitamin D is the perfect combination.
You look fantastic! I hope you get rid of that cough soon. The lingering symptoms from an illness can last longer than the actual virus. Feel better soon! The fabric you bought is gorgeous! Every single piece is so vibrant. I cannot wait to see your me made garments. Enjoy the process!
I love your hair colour it really suits you. Beautiful fabrics and you don't have to explain or justify buying them. You can choose what to buy with your very hard earned money. x
Everyone should double face the frills! It elevates the blouse so much. I’m a big fan of red hair. Maybe you just had the wrong shade. Your current shade is quite nice. You’ve a red head’s complexion. It should work. So sorry you’ve been ill.
So glad you are back and feeling better 💖 Love the pink & red blouse…don’t wait til Spring to wear it! It will be a real pick-me-up on a gray winter day 🥰 Hoping you continue to feel better 👍🏻💪🏻💖
Get better soon, Rachel. ❤️😊 You are having creative ides now, even not being well. That is a good sign! Keep on sewing, girl. So nice to see your videos. Say hi to Martin. Greetings from Norway 🇳🇴
Great to see you back Rach! Loving your hair light pink, interested to see what's next. Absolutely love the blouse you made. Great choices of new fabric too!
Sorry you've been feeling so poorly. Good to hear that you're on the mend. The first fabric you held up with pastels, lilac, pink, greens is stunning. When you held it up to your face, you glowed. I think you said you were going for blonde for your hair and I know you prefer dark but have you considered a soft pink? Based on how the colours in fabric just made you glow, the hair might do the same. I always say I'm only going to buy fabric with a plan in mind but my dear husband says sewing and fabric collecting are two different hobbies. Last thing - when Natalie did her unboxing and said the colour wasn't for her I immediately thought Rachel would LOVE it! LOL
So happy you’re back and on the way to recovering, you seem so much better than before Christmas. You have chosen some beautiful fabrics, can’t wait to see what you make. I hope you will do a vlog about making your bag, I’d be very interested in that. Also, your hair is fab and love the Marnie blouse. ❤❤
So glad to see you back. Sometimes it's good to take a break after Christmas, after all you gave us such a lot of lovely Christmas Vlogs. Love the blouse and your fabrics and can't wait to see your makes. Take care and look forward to your next Vlog :)x
Oh Rachel I love your hair. I use to change my hair color alot before I got sick and my hair was falling out from a vitamin deficiency. I am scared to do it again now. I am sorry you were sick and glad you are on the mend. I missed seeing you but thought you were just taking a break. I am glad to see you back and love the fabrics and your sewing plans. Please take care of yourself and get well.
So glad to see you back 😊 sadly many people were hit with a flu of sorts over Christmas.. but It 's great to see you are on the mend.. I love the idea of a patterned strap with a solid bag.. Whitney from Tomkat stitchery had made some for Christmas presents in her Christmas Vlog and she placed d-rings on the ends where the strap attaches and purchased premade multi-colored straps from Amazon.
Absolutely love your fabric choices, especially the one for the loungewear - it will look amazing. Also loving your hair, you look great in ALL colours! Thanks for great video and glad you are feeling a bit better. x
You have some amazing new fabrics but the fabric for the Nomi dress is just divine! It reminds me of a Monet painting. Wowsers - that dress will be a stunner…. Hugs from Oregon.
Lovely to see you back and looking so well. Your hair really suits you. And your fabrics are gorgeous, looking forward to seeing what you make with them ❤
You look lovely with your hair that shade especially with that blouse. Sorry you’ve been poorly. I saw the fabric that Becki had used as well and loved it and resisted it then as I saw your vlog went and bought 4 metres😂. Even before I’d finished watching it. It’s good for you to buy some lovely fabrics, it makes you happy and you work so hard. Take care. Xx
Lovely to see you again, missed you. Love your hair and your marnie. Those colours are fab on you. I also liked the boho style fabric you bought so want to see what you make and that bag pattern is ideal, especially in that fabric. I would also love a loungewear suit, perhaps it will go on my list for this year. Dont want to put myself under too much pressure but it’s a nice idea. Enjoy your sewing social and see you soon ❤
You might want to look at Whitney’s RUclips channel (Tomkat stitchery) for what she made for Christmas presents. She attached the strap differently on her version of the noodle head sandhill bag. She made the bag so you could change the strap. She also used thrifted fabrics.
I don't even notice the upside down print. Love your fabric and buttons. Good luck with your next hair experiment. I did that red hair by accident once. I was happy to end that accidental experiment. I experiment with haircuts now as I have given up hair coloring and gone natural for that part. I loved your fabric purchases as well.
It's so lovely to see you onscreen. I Love your peachy hair, it's so pretty. We've missed you, but understand why you've been MIA. We both had the lurgy all over Christmas and New Year, yours sounds very similar to ours. Hubby was worse than me, his developed into a chest infection, but we are both still feeling so very tired after it. The Juliet dress is such a beautiful style as is your lovely blouse. That the fabric on the back is the wrong way up is not noticeable with all the gathers. Love all your new fabrics; go back and buy that lilac fabric :-) Whitney, of Tomkat Stitchery, recently made two of those Noodlehead bags as Christmas gifts. It will be very useful. Whitney used thrifted suede garments for hers and also used patterned webbing.
Sorry you have been under the weather. A friend of mine got covid in December (similar symptoms) and it has taken weeks for her to come back fully. She was fit and all vaccinated but it has been a long recovery. Hope you can continue to progress. Nice to see you and hear your updates.
Welcome back! Your rose gold hair colour really makes your eyes shine. I think i must be your fabric twin, i would like to have all of those fabrics in my stash. But alas, 2024 is the year of only using fabric in the stash. Whatever virus you had, over here in Ontario Canada, both my husband and my daughter had something very similar.
It’s good to have you back, Rachel, oive missed you and am glad you are feeling better. I haven’t done any sewing at all. I’m still recuperating from a bout of sepsis in November. I am done with my IV antibiotics and my doctor has cleared me but I am exhausted. Sore, and my muscles feel like wet noodles. I’m not sure when I will be able to sew but in the meantime I watch vlogs to keep me inspired. I really love your new fabrics.
Your red and pink blouse is lovely, and your new fabrics and plans sound fabulous! The athletic and leisure/at-home wear is inspiring! I hope you continue to feel better.
Hey Rachel! I love the colour of your hair right now. It really suits you. Thanks for the suggestion on the bag. I’m travelling this summer and I was like right… I too need a sling bag 😊
You were missed but I totally get it. I'm happy to hear you are feeling better. Love the hair color, looks very pretty on you. Your Marnie blouse is so lovely as well. The colors in your new fabrics are so gorgeous. Love them. Those will make some beautiful dresses. Can't wait to see the finished bag. Thanks for sharing.
I have watched you for years and I live in NC. That bag is very nice. Tomkat Stitchery made two for gifts at Christmas. She ordered guitar straps for her bag. They are nice because they are adjustable and detachable. I can't wait to see what you make. Glad you are feeling better.
So glad that you are on the mend, and it was lovely to see you again. That Nomi fabric you got was just gorgeous. Can't wait to see the finished dress.
Pleased to see you back again - loving the hair - but its got yo be right for you. I love Boyes but there is not one where I live - sadly. Look forward to the bag make - and everything else you do
Hi Rachel! It's good to see you back, but you absolutely deserve a break after all the hard work of vlogmas. Love all the new fabrics. I have that last Lamazi fabric (the one with the cream background) and I made a shirt with it. Those colours will be lovely on you. Also, I'm loving the colour of your hair, it looks a bit peachy on my screen, and it really suits you. But I'm looking forward to seeing it after the trip to the hairdressers. I adore how fearless you are with your hair! Stay fabulous! Lynne🤩
Good to see you back. I'm sorry that you have been poorly but glad you are feeling better. I love, love the colour of your hair. Great fabric buys. I got the same modal jersey with red leaves on black and made my Christmas dress with it. It's really cosy. Angela (sewnlyme) x
Loving that pale copper/apricot colour on your hair Rachel, looks gorgeous! Can’t wait to see how that sling bag turns out we are planning a trip to Shetland this year and that bag would be great for travel.
Fab vlog thanks! You've obviously got your Sew( and Mo )Jo back.....I'm sure the running is helping. Interested to see the making of the running/ jogging pants as I would be quite nervous about making them, but use them a lot! Steph
Love your pink and red blouse! So beautiful and flowy. Perfect choice for fabric and pattern. All your newly purchased prints are so lovely and will be fun for Spring.
I absolutely love the pink and red top. The Know Me dress fabric and the pattern should be beautiful. I love that style. Hope you are feeling better soon.
Welcome back. ❤. I’m wondering if you had/have the RSV virus? Don’t know if it’s around the UK but is here in the states. Glad you are feeling better. I absolutely love the purple floral from pound fabrics. I’ve seen some beautiful prints and 😢 because they don’t ship to the US. Whitney from Tomkat stitchery made a couple of the noodle head bags for Christmas gifts and modified the strap design to make it adjustable. She also purchased colorful webbing to coordinate with her fabrics. Looking forward to seeing your new makes! Hope you continue to feel better.💐
Nice to see you back & glad your feeling a little better. Love the blouse & the hair colour. The fabrics you purchased look great + the patterns you showed. Only one thing Rachel, stop apologising - it’s up to you what style or colour hair you have & also what & how many fabrics you wish to buy, it’s nobody else’s business. Hope you continue to get better & stay strong.❤
I’m glad you’re on the mend and are back. I had that bug over December and still have a bit of a cough and croaky voice 6 weeks later. Your hair looks lovely and I love that colour on you. So looking forward to your new makes. 💖
Really lovely to see you back Rachel and sorry to hear that you've been under the weather. There has been a lot about and I didn't escape the nasties either 😤. Hope your feeling better and ready to sew up those gorgeous fabrics and I love that bag pattern too 👌. Noodlehead have some brilliant designs. Enjoy getting back to your sewing again Rachel and looking forward to seeing how you get on 💖🥰😘
Great to see you back. Don’t push yourself unnecessarily after not being well. Take it easy. I must say the pale apricot hair colour is lovely. I really liked your Lamaze fabrics so just ordered the paisley. I’ve just had my colours done and have so much fabric that I ordered last year that is all wrong for me. Don’t know quite what to do. I’m a Spring, light, bright, clear!
Hi Rachel, I really love the colour of your hair now. But I know you’re going to go and change it when you go to the hairdressers on Friday. Absolutely love the fabric that you have, fallen in love Paisley and definitely the red and BLACK is fantastic In my Vlog, the other day said that my partner Chris had bet me on something and if I lost I wasn’t allowed to buy fabric for two months however if he lost he wouldn’t be allowed to drink alcohol for two months so it would seem that I lost, so I need to seriously get into my stash and deplete that down I don’t know how to destash. Good to see you back on board and to see that you’re feeling a lot better than you did in your last Vlogmas being the side of the world. I was nice and warm during my Vlog and I stayed very healthy during Christmas, but then again winter is in the middle of the year for us. Stay well and can’t wait to see your hair after the hairdressers 🦩🦩💕💕💖💖
So lovely to see you back Rachel & glad you are feeling better. I really love your hair this current colour, it suits you so much & with that Marnie it’s just fab! & oh my goodness, your new blouse is just divine. I love red & pink together too, what a beautiful make to start the year off ♥️💗

It's so nice to see you up and running again! Mr. G and I really enjoyed your Vlogmas again this year. Lovely hearing about all your upcoming sewing plans, I've got the Sandhill Sling pattern and the main fabric myself, so will be hunting down all the things to go with that. Nice that you'll be doing that! Happy sewing!
So glad you are feeling better. I can relate. I've had an respiratory something for 3 weeks. I had bragged to a neighbor that I never get sick, having taught and exposed to all kinds of germs for 30 years. Then bam. My nurse neighbor said it's been going around here. (Western Washington State). But glad we're both on the mend. Love your fabrics and happy to see you again.

Lovely to see you back. Sorry you’ve been so poorly but sounds like you’re on the road to recovery. Beautiful blouse. I’ve lost my sew-Jo this month as I’ve not had a great start to the year for various reasons. Hopefully back at it very soon. ❤
The colour your hair is now is lovely. It suits you so well. And the blouse you’re wearing goes nicely, too, with your skin tone and hair.
I was just thinking the same 😊
It’s great to see you back -and I love your blouse. You honestly don’t need to apologise or justify any purchases-its your money and your choice how to spend it, and it makes you happy.

Lovely to see you back, Rachel! ❤️🩷
Love yr hair colour, great choice ! Glad to see you are back, do take it easy dear. Lovely choice of fabrics, looking forward to see yr makes.
So nice to “ have you back “ , THANK YOU SO MUCH for your vlogs . Loving your fabric choices and your pink and red blouse is stunning ❤️
Pleased your feeling better. Like you say post op your immunity would be lower. Hope it didn't spoil your Christmas too much. Love the hair x
Hi Rachel, I really love the colour of your hair now. But I know you’re going to go and change it when you go to the hairdressers on Friday.
Absolutely love the fabric that you have, fallen in love Paisley and definitely the red and BLACK is fantastic
In my Vlog, the other day said that my partner Chris had bet me on something and if I lost I wasn’t allowed to buy fabric for two months however if he lost he wouldn’t be allowed to drink alcohol for two months so it would seem that I lost, so I need to seriously get into my stash and deplete that down I don’t know how to destash.

Loving your Marnie blouse, I really need to make one! Your hair looks lovely and I’m sure they won’t have too much trouble to dye it blonde now. Lovely plans, will look forward to seeing your finished makes xx
You're looking well Rachel, and your hair looks very pretty. Love all your fabric purchases. Take Care xx
Hello Rachel! Get the lilac fabric, it’s a great color for you. Also, you should wear your new pink blouse for a Valentine’s date with Martin. Enjoy!

Whitney, at Tomkat Stitchery, made that bag just before Christmas, and she used premade guitar straps instead of making a strap.
Your blouse is so cute! I love your hair! I've been watching you since Christmas, I'm from the USA.
Have you done a sewing room tour? Im interested in your light. I have seen these in several different sewing sites.
