Rain makes these groups whenever he loses traction, only to abandon them after 2 comebacks and little to no promotion. It’s disgusting. You’ll see boys that trained at huge companies for 3+ years, who have had their dreams crushed so many times, be so excited that someone as influential as Rain wants to see them succeed. this issue is misinterpreted, a few ciipher fans decided to post 'lets destroy him' and others who already never knew him went with it ONLINE. He obviously don't have the team which could manage while he's doing his own thing, which then he obviously shouldn't. About Ciipher, they got the chance to write and produce their own songs rather than being puppets, and I never gave another listen to them because sorry not sorry they didn't catch my attention, I was rather disappointed. Mean teen internet fans are forgetting he was the only reason they got attention as a group. Anyway they will already get more recognition because of the 'mistreatment' and let's see if they can stand out in another agency (which they will because of Bi). About MBLAQ, they got trained and represented for the beginning, which he CO-OWNED (which most of the keyboard warriors never researched) and the partners were supposed to do the rest of finger holding when Bi is doing his own thing because he was too young to retire. But they couldn't so Rain should be the only one to get the blame right? Forget military enlistment. Gets bullied after over a decade by some teens who never knew of MBLAQ. It's mostly international fans who doesn't know and never experienced ground reality but on the internet who knows their age right. You are only allowed to put opinions about the concert if you went to Kcon because as far as I've heard from the attendees this situation was not what is being told by internet gossip aunties/uncles.

That would be so interesting …. My brain almost split in half 😂😂
A lot of 4th and 5th gen stans don't do their homework. I got into kpop in the 3rd gen and I learned as much as I could about other artists that came before exactly because of this reason.
Where is this energy for JYP because it would actually be realistic he has personally crushed dreams of multiple people one example is Joo a solo artist he treated her so bad she had panic attacks and anxiety when it came to her voice she had to take some time off
Same question, actually we all know about mblaq that when it disbanded it was under jyp, but how the media transfer the blame to rain, no one blame jyp .
Cause JYP, in the end just like everybody else, is selling a product. Somehow most of the fans never even realise the fact. Yes, the CDs and merch are products, but the person related to that merch is in the end the main product. If it doesn't do well or isn't cut out to be released into the market, it gets scrapped. 🤷♀️
Not knowing Big Bang, 2ne1, SNSD, TVXQ, T-ara and Kara should be sins. They changed so much of what kpop became. Especially Big Bang and 2ne1. These two were like the two groups who literally changed the entire game. Also Mblaq song were all a work of art and the members were all incredibly talented in different fields.

I will say its kinda a generational thing but in a way that 1st and 2nd gen stans are happy to see him not knowing that he mismanaged again another boy group which now solidifies his track record, while 4th and 5th gen stans are trying to black ocean him knowing damn well and also for Keita which garnered alot of fans in boys planet that are waiting for him but then realised how bad the situation of his group
I thought it was a generational thing too!!!!! but, I kept seeing the same thing on different RUclipsrs channels, that the fans realized that he has not been taking care of the two groups that he’s managing.....and that’s probably because of the fact that he’s new to managing, but you would think that he was under JYP and he wouldn’t know how to manage a group, but some people think JYP doesn’t know what he’s doing. But that’s a different story for different short😆😃❤️❤️❤️
This is not true. Do you know that Rain Company was planning Ciipher’s concert in Thailand this summer, but it was canceled due to poor ticket sales? Do you know that Rain has been scolded by Korean netizens for promoting Ciipher too frequently on variety shows in recent years? The sales of Ciipher's albums in the past three years has been worse than the last one. Not to mention that Won violated the company's ban on dating within five years of his debut, and even posted photos that Da Yeon took for him in 🫧. If I were the CEO, I would definitely think about whether this group will stay or not…
And Rain also did his best when leading MBLAQ. In addition to domestic variety shows, I Jun even played his childhood role in《Ninja Assassin》. They also sang the theme song of the Korean drama 《The Fugitive: Plan B》starring Rain. It was because Rain was conscripted into the army in 2012, there was no other way to transfer MBLAQ to JYP and asked him to operate it for him…
The fact that people can just assume from only part of the story and immediately try to cancel an icon is insane. I’ve lost count of the number of careers lost and ruined because netizens overreact from misleading sources. This is why k-pop fans have the worst reputation for toxic fandoms. Just wait in a few months and the truth comes out and the damage will be far worse than the spark caused by mindless acts like these. Regardless, black ocean is never a good response to anything.
People payed so little attention to ciipher then when things went bad for them, they want to blame the company? Y'all do know that groups do good when fans support them. The company promoting and giving comebacks does nothing but waste money of no one's giving any in return
Pls do not talk about this if you werent a fan of ciipher. How do you think a group gains attention or support? Do you think success falls from the sky? Its the COMPANIES job to promote the group properly so people will get to know them and rain did a horrible job at that. He has all the connections in the industry but couldnt even send ciipher on some popular variety shows etc... theres a whole thread on twt explaining in detail how he didnt support them properly and just neglected them at some point. They were on hiatus more than they were active. They also didnt get much content like on youtube or social media where they could gain new fans... no memberships, no lightstick, no stuff like seasons greetings or photobooks.. no updates on tag when he basically vanished off the earth, no updates on ciiphers future, THEN he sends keita to boys planet and hyunbin to fantasy boys and instead of giving them cb afterwards and trying to ride on the hype, there was again... NOTHING.. and now they "disbanded". Like I cant blame the members for keaving rain company with the way he treated them. For most of the members this was like a second chance since they either already were on survival shows or in other groups before and he just failed them.
@@annis749 Well I am Adam of ciipher and even if I wasn't, I have every right to call out those in the comments pretending they are fans just to hate on rain Success comes from support. No one and I mean NO ONE can have suppress without support. A group can't sell albums to air. They sell them to fans. If no one buys them, how do you expect them to make money? Also having to work a second job to support yourself while you work on your dreams is normal. Many videos i see about korean entertainment that says ppl have to get second jobs to get by nothing anyone has said convince me that rain intentional ruin someone life.
Let's be honest, cipher doesn't have a lot of fans that's enough to make them go BIG big so all this hatred towards Rain is just weird to me like, since when do the American kpop fans care abt cipher? Do they even KNOW cipher?
Its bc ciipher isnt the only group he ruined, there were whole threads on twitter how he treated his previous groups and how he treated ciipher, so alot of kpop fans from other groups were on board not supporting him at kcon! Its true not all of them knew ciipher or stanned ciipher but they could still emphasize bc maybe smth like this happened to a group they liked before, or just in general being supportive of another fandom bc they wouldnt want that to happen to their group. Obviously not everyone is on twitter or knew about this which is why there were still people cheering for him
There's been a wave of new fans because Keita and Moon Hyunbin have participated in Boys planet and Fantasy Boys respectively which made people realized how fck up the group's situation is. (Zerobaseone is the group that emerged from BoysPlanet and they performed the same day as Rain and since Keita was very loved, well..) I'm glad it put light on them because otherwise who knows how long Rain would have kept them in the basement.. What's crazy to me is that, for Rain, he just lost money/investement but for the members they've been losing years of their life doing nothing and we know how precious those years are for kpop idols. Probably great artist but terrible human being/CEO
“Cipher doesn’t have a lot fans to make them go big” They are or were a freaking new group! I doubt rain had that much fanbase 1 or 2 yrs into his career. And even if their debut wasn’t as successful as they had hoped, Consistency is key. Promotion is of vital importance especially now that the industry is so saturated. The boys barely got any of that. The one concert/show they should have had was cancelled with no explanation. ZERO promotional work was done after the initial buzz of taking them on a few shows. How did you expect them to get that BIG fan base without any of this? Do you think it’s by luck? At this point Rain is displaying a pattern that needs to be addressed and stop toying with peoples lives and dreams. You might not know or care about them but quite a number of people do.
About Ciipher. Idk man. As a outsider (non fan), I actually see Rain's effort in pushing the group to fame. Eg when they debut and first few comebacks, I see Ciipher in a lot of things. But I never really attracted to them idk why - i tried but hmm. I guess despite Rain's efforts, the outcome is not great. And if they think handing over the group's management to 'professionals' is better, why not? I just wish for the best for Ciipher - some of the members really went thru a lot and longgg way just to debut
I don't know how big this was since I don't follow anything on social media myself, but I heard that people also found it disrespectful he performed "Rainism" when there was a big hurricane warning upcoming
Idk what he did but it sounds like it was wrong. But tbh I feel bad that idols get black oceans 😭 they still work hard and I don't think they deserve it. The whole crowd doesn't have to have their lightstick on but atleast some. (Again idk what he did so i can't say much but i still feel bad)
I didn’t even realize, me and the girl next to me were waving our sticks though I did notice that the girls a few seats down from me wouldn’t use their lightsticks for basically anyone but Ateez and I think zb1
Someone needs to make him check his ego. If he wanted his group to succeed, it takes time and effort. You can't assume your name alone will make the group you manage famous 😭 If you never believed in then to do well alone then promise nothing

I used to be a big fan of rain but not anymore. For what he fid, he deserves black ocean
Can u please tell me what happened
Rain makes these groups whenever he loses traction, only to abandon them after 2 comebacks and little to no promotion. It’s disgusting.
You’ll see boys that trained at huge companies for 3+ years, who have had their dreams crushed so many times, be so excited that someone as influential as Rain wants to see them succeed. He is such a nasty person, who really did deserve a quiet let down, which is exactly what he gives his idols.
That doesn’t make someone a bad person, that’s just mad management
@@debutriah2854 have you not seen the things he has said about them? Hes said things about how he should have bought a car instead of wasting his time on them, that they don’t matter anymore. So many horrible things.
@@olyvia8599lol it was just a joke, girl. Omg people really wild out here they turn a joke into a serious thing😂 i believe rain and his management can’t handle the group, i’m not really defending him for what happen to mblaq & ciipher, but i’ll always respect him as artist
this issue is misinterpreted, a few ciipher fans decided to post 'lets destroy him' and others who already never knew him went with it ONLINE.
A reaction channel that react to lots of K-pop didn’t know who BigBang/Gdragon is … I almost cried 😂😂 then 2 minutes after that they saw a very hip hip dance performance on SWF and said I wish we have boygroups with this street hip hop style in K-pop. That would be so interesting …. My brain almost split in half 😂😂
Girl.. HIMENA from RUNEXT didn't know who 2ne1 or Red Velvet were... she shocked me 😢
Yeah my heart still aches for Mblaq 😢
Not knowing old talents should be a crime. The amount of people who barely know who Shinee is, let alone BoA.
A lot of 4th and 5th gen stans don't do their homework. I got into kpop in the 3rd gen and I learned as much as I could about other artists that came before exactly because of this reason.
i can't imagine my life without 2NE1😣
We have to include Madtown in the line up with MBLAQ and ciipher. Rain been fucking up for a long time.
So, did anyone try to do “black ocean” when Rain performed? I didn’t notice….. Just remember a lot of cheering.
You reminded me of the time when kpop bands use to disband so easily.
I am a younger K-pop fan but it should be a crime to not know 2NE1 lol or other 2nd gen K-pop groups like SNSD
I still can't believe it's already 5th gen, i feel really old and im still 18.
LIKE BRO, ciipher is actually good too and I could see them growing massively if they had a good management team. All rain did was promote the life out of keita and the other two most likely just want to be K-pop stars. No hate towards them, it’s just sad to see that they have so much potential ruined by a bad management and company 🥲.
I've been around since big mama was a thing
I love being called old by knowing who mblaq is. I just turned 21 less than 48 hours ago.
Some of the screams if u watch on twitter was just people cussing him out lol
People are wild. He doesn’t even directly manage the boys lmfao. Being an owner of a company does not make you directly in charge of groups. That is why owners hire CEO’s and CEOs hire Managers. Kpop fans need to wake up
He is the CEO through...
@@nick3805 that means nothing for the group. He’s not there manager. You can literally look up the groups manager and it’s not him 💀
@@Bunnybunny5656this is so null and void when you realize he doesn't sign off on every single project but everything final goes through rain. music doesn't get posted online unless it crosses his desk. meaning hiatuses or the lack thereof will continue unless he says so.
@@Bunnybunny5656like jyp doesn't directly manage nmixx but love me like this would have never made it to streaming services without him, same with s.class, set me free, etc. if rain wanted ciipher to be active, they would be.
@@motomamiii you obviously don’t know anything about business and Jay yp is not lmfao Rain . Jyp is a Owner and producer . He helps produce music . And no the group managers are responsible for hiatus, comebacks, schedules, ect. Ceo/ and owners are more focused on the company as a whole and not individual groups. The focus on finances, deals and Endorsements. If they still had to do the work of a manager they wouldn’t hire managers 💀 you don’t need the ceo to sign off on a group comeback. You need the manager of the group to do so. Y’all really have never worked corporate jobs and it shows. Get a job at real business and then comeback to this conversation once you’ve actually became a manager at a corporation cause clearly you’ve never worked for a big company lol
I’m a 3/4 th gen Stan and I can not imagine not knowing 2NE1 I know I am the best by 2NE1 by heart
It was because Rain was conscripted into the army in 2012, there was no other way to transfer MBLAQ to JYP and asked him to operate it for him…
Some 4th gen and 5th gen stans don’t even know who IZ*ONE was and as BIG Wiz*One that made me cry 😭😭
IZ*ONE is literally a 4th gen group😭
@@Jiwoo_O_Clock I know and I can’t believe some people forgot about the most legendary 4th gen group 😭😭😭😭

time is too slow for me baby!
I audibly gasped when she said imagine not knowing 2NE1
Don’t forget Madtown and Rains role in their downfall
The fact that people can just assume from only part of the story and immediately try to cancel an icon is insane. I’ve lost count of the number of careers lost and ruined because netizens overreact from misleading sources. This is why k-pop fans have the worst reputation for toxic fandoms. Just wait in a few months and the truth comes out and the damage will be far worse than the spark caused by mindless acts like these. Regardless, black ocean is never a good response to anything.
HOW DO PEOPLE NOT KNOW 2NE1 THAT IS A CRIME TO NOT KNOW 2NE1
not you assuming that I don't know mblaq🤔😂😂
@@annis749 Well I am Adam of ciipher and even if I wasn't, I have every right to call out those in the comments pretending they are fans just to hate on rain
Success comes from support. No one and I mean NO ONE can have suppress without support. A group can't sell albums to air. They sell them to fans. If no one buys them, how do you expect them to make money?
Ciipher fans could have pulled what loona fans did and talk about them EVERYWHERE. It helped loona get more popular, it could have easily helped ciipher
Companies tend to neglect groups or artist that fans don't pay any attention to. Messed up, but that happens, so if y'all loved them as much as y'all claim y'all did, it would have shown
LISTEN i understand because Mblaq deserved better but the only reason im in kpop is BECAUSE of Rain
He’s talented but I have to question how good of a person he is when he seems to have no remorse for letting these boys down and only regretting the money he spent on them. If he isn’t cut out to manage them he never should have led them on, wasted their precious time and let their potential go to waste.

I'm against this, it takes more to be a group. Then to blame the manager for why you're not succeeding. It's not always the management, that's a problem. Also having to work a second job to support yourself while you work on your dreams is normal. Many videos i see about korean entertainment that says ppl have to get second jobs to get by nothing anyone has said convince me that rain intentional ruin someone life.

The k-pop world is so f'n weird with this stuff. It's not a fandom; it's an unhealthy obsession
oh my god thats my tweet what. hey its me winxyeojin
(Zerobaseone is the group that emerged from BoysPlanet and they performed the same day as Rain and since Keita was very loved, well..)
I'm glad it put light on them because otherwise who knows how long Rain would have kept them in the basement..
What's crazy to me is that, for Rain, he just lost money/investement but for the members they've been losing years of their life doing nothing and we know how precious those years are for kpop idols.
Probably great artist but terrible human being/CEO
@@annis749 and you fans thinks black ocean would matter to him lol his still making money!!!!
@@krishnagarg7429financially ofcourse not but it's embarrassing for him there were also shouting to him what happened to cipher.
I hate this type of movements. Like, you don't like someone for some bully behavior, but then people go ahead and do it aswell
