  • My Son Ending Explained, James McAvoy! Where do we begin if we start counting on his extraordinary acting skills, be it in the famous thriller Split or the X-men series. These two are just the names; there are many more on the list, and if we begin to count those, then we will have to leave the article’s title behind and start talking about McAvoy’s acting skills itself. And it will be worth it! Trust us but let’s keep it up for the next time.
    This time we have a new movie named My Son, a crime thriller, and the trailer is quite interesting. So to know about the worthiness of the movie exceptionally for you to watch, we might need to tell you the gist of the storyline.

    Really enjoyed the way this film was shot, the scenery, the lighting and general eerie atmosphere was well executed. James McAvoy proves again why he is a force to be reckoned with. Without James in this film, it might not have been half as enjoyable.
    It is a bit slow at times and didn't dig deep into the bigger picture of the storyline but I enjoyed it. It's definitely worth a watch in my opinion.
    I feel if they dug into the story a bit more and explained the sinister situation at hand it could have been a 8/9 out of 10.

    James McAvoy and Claire Foy are the main reasons why this remake is actually better than the original

    Im going to keep it simple and just say its really damn good. James is one hell of an actor & the movie delivers. Its not that slow of a burn because it keeps you gripped to the screen from start to finish. The story is always moving forward with no filler garbage.

    Just finished watching this film I thought it was spectacular! As a father a lot of emotional moments as well would def recommend.

  • @wungabunga
    @wungabunga 2 года назад +5

    It was gripping, but the company angle was unconvincing. Not sure why London would want to interrupt a Scottish kidnapping enquiry because the father was up to no good in an unrelated matter?? There would be a national outcry!

      No because it was part of a pedo ring. No doubt very rich people that were in some way connected to the government or protected by the government! This stuff goes on.. Epstein?

      At that point in the movie we dont know what the father does for a living.( is he a spy.?) So London being raided makes us think its definatly to do with the father, and prolongs the confusion, then plot twist that its a child trafficking ring.

    Where the fuck was that bedroom? Why wasn’t the boyfriend building that bedroom, that pissed me off so much. I’m still looking for that bedroom now…
    N where the fuck did he go after he left the hospital, to the bedroom he didn’t build for Ethan?
    Ahhh bit harsh. Good movie must watch …

    Claire Foy was wasted in My Son while James McAvoy’s performance as incredible - the cinematography is stunning - but the movie as a whole is lacking - I want it to be better - I really do - what a waste of a great opportunity

    It is definitely implied by Roy that Edmond will go before a judge for his actions but it's not clear if he will be judged for the crimes of his company or for torturing one kidnapper and knocking another one unconscious. Violence against criminals is still a crime even in a good cause as it's considered vigilantism. It's also not clear if Joan dumped Frank (although it appears that she has done so because Frank is nowhere in sight in the "happy family together again" scene at the end).

      When the police took his phone they found stuff on his phone that was incriminating towards his company. That's why the Inspector was taken off the case. At the end, he's going to jail for illegal activity involving that but Roy hopes the judge will be lenient since he discovered a child trafficking ring and helped put them in prison.

    Driving in the heart of the Highlands, Edmond Murray receives a call from his ex-wife, in tears. Their 7-year-old son has gone missing from a campsite. Soon, it becomes clear that the child has been kidnapped, and the parents give way to despair. What follows has to be viewed. You will be on the edge of your seat following their investigation and their search for their Son.
