I am also planning the same in the second half of September but it will be Manali-Rohtang-Jispa (Stay) - Keylong-Barcha-Sisu-Manali (Via Atal Tunnel). I am open for any suggestions..

Hye Tripti and Paras. We are planning to visit keylong/sissu and then want to go to Rohtang. Please guide us, do we have to go back to Manali to go to rohtang or can we straight go to Rohtang from Atal tunnel. We have a low sedan which is low in ground clerance , so is it advisable to go by own car or hire a taxi. Our plan is to go in October
For booking details, pls check our Rohtang Pass Vlog, you will get all details in the description box and in video. Oxygen Cans are not required for Baralacha Pass, unless you have a respiratory problem.
Bro polo car 🚗 m ground clearance ka issue tha kya rapid car sedan le ja sakte h kya ground clearance ka issue tou nahi hoga One more thing stip road up hill m konse gear m car comfortable h mujhe mountain riding ka experience nahi h kya trip ker sakte h owned vehicles
Ground clearance ka koi issue nahi hua polo me because roads bahut achhi hai Baralacha pass Tak. Sedan b le ja sakte ho. 2 nd gear jyada use hota hai uphill but kaafi jagah roads achhi hai toh 3rd aur 4 th b use hota hai. Agar experience nahi h toh it's better to go with someone having experience else take a driver or taxi.
Yes its Polo. No Problem at at all. The roads to Baralacha from Manali are smooth except for few patches and water crossings. We didn't encounter any problem with polo.
In October there might be snow at top of Baralacha. But you can definitely visit till Darcha and then decide from there to continue further, as they have a checkpost at Darcha which allows vehicles to move forward to Baralacha.
Awesome . Great view & nice video . What is ideal time to visit here ??? When we can see snow here in barulacha la pass ??? How much far is it from keylong . Any homestay nearby u recomend or in sisu village ?. Can u plz share the details where u stayed at sisu village ? Quick response will be highly appreciated . I hope u reply back 🙂 Cheers 👍
Thank You for watching. Ideal time is from mid May to Sep. Snow can be seen during most of the year. But heavy snow can be seen in early may till mid June, after that patches of snow will be seen when you reach top of Baralacha Pass and you can see snow in distance mountains in July and August as well. But if snow is your priority I would suggest you to go to Rohtang Pass and you can find snow anytime of the year, if you are lucky even snowfall. We stayed at Jispa and all details are mentioned in the description box and the video if you watch the full video 😉. Jispa is a river side small hamlet and beautiful for camping.
Nice video. We are also planning the same sort of trip. First complete manali and then lahaul valley. Can you tell how much time did it take from Manali to Barlacha/Suraj tal ? And night stay recommended in jispa or keylong ? Also other places which should be visited enroute ? I also have a 4.5yrs kid with me. Will that be troublesome with AMS in baralacha ?
Manali to Baralacha La approx: 5 - 6 Hrs Night Stay recommended in Jispa as there are river side camps and it is a good experience. There is nothing in Keylong it's a small town. AMS is light, not sure about kids though. But you can carry a diamox tablet for AMS. Places to be visited enroute: Atal Tunnel, Sissu village, Keylong, Jispa, Deepak Tal, Surajtal, Baralacha.
You are guys are really cute ❤️❤️and u guys explain each and every thing very well...so keep it up..just one question if u guys have to choose between spiti valley and baralacha la paas ,which one will be ur 1st preference 😀
Thank you so much 😊 We would choose Spiti Valley as we can experience the buddhist culture, local cuisine and other prominent hot spots of the valley. Baralachala on the other hand is to experience the road trip (journey).
Hi Priyanshu, its very much safe . Just keep a check on weather and avoid travelling on rainy day. We went in July last year and didn't have any problem.
Hello Tripti & Paras it was a lovely vlog..enjoyed everything. I'm just having little query, how many hours does it takes to reach suraj tal from jispa Do we get any mobile network after jispa?
Hello Megha, Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching. It took us roughly around 3.5 Hrs to reach Surajtal. There is no mobile network after jispa. Atleast not Airtel, not sure about jio, thoughts jio works in Jispa.
Hi Sahil you can directly contact the camp for this information, I have given the number in description box. It should be in range of 3000-3500 for a camp of 3 people. But better check.

Snowfall has happened few days back in Baralacha La, Rohtang and higher areas of Manali. So there are good chances of seeing snow.
