Making and Sowing a Large Field After Sugar Beet Harvesting | American Falls Farm | FS 22 | ep #29

Welcome back to the American Falls Farm Timelapse. First, we complete the sugar beet harvest. After delivering the harvested beets to the cutting shop and loading the sugar factory with pulp, our next task is to load pallets with sugar and transport them to the point of sale. Once the harvest is finished, we focus on field cultivation.
We begin by plowing the areas where trees once stood, creating one large field. Before planting, we apply granular fertilizer using a JOHN DEERE 4940 self-propelled spreader. Then, we bring in a JOHN DEERE 8440 tractor equipped with a JOHN DEERE N542C Drill Series planter to plant the barley.
