As this trailer's director and editor, I've been so excited to reveal this finally!
Since it's Coco we're talking about here I wanted to tell a bit of her story in the beginning, so I made it as if Ame has time travelled 500 years into the future to see her (hence 2521 AD).
Hope you guys look forward to the release on May 5th!

As one of the original moveset designers for her, I am so hyped to see her finally revealed and hope we did justice to Kaichou and her legacy. The team did AN INCREDIBLE job on her just like with the whole cast and game overall and I was grinning like an idiot watching this trailer and even got a bit emotional seeing how far she has come from the earliest vision we had, while still retaining aspects from back then as well
Hope many of you are excited to play her when the game releases!

I was actually expecting kanata with a grappler playstyle only for her to be incorporated as a grapple mover for coco,, genious mover My guy
I think Kanata's actually an assist, it looks like Coco's already got a FAB type throw where she runs up a bit and grabs the opponent, and the point blank SPD type one and she has the same effect when she comes out as the other assists come out with in Akirose's trailer.

@@Salty010 From what we have seen, assist can be selected individually for any character you want. It's great since it gives us more freedom.
@@iduno9024 Oh didn't even know there were assists in the game, I just though every holomem on the other trailers were part of the respective characters moveset, makes sense for them to be assists tho XD

also want to point out, going frame-by-frame, at 1:14 there's a secret character glitching out the announcement date. She looks like she has twintails and a red aura around her. I'm gonna speculate that the only one capable of something like this is the eldritch horror that is Haachama

as someone who admittedly didn't watch a lot of Coco and really only took notice when it was announced that she would be graduating, i do love her moveset. Especially meme-ify-ing the others. Turning Fubuki into 'Y A B E' alone? 10/10.
