I've been advocating for synergy kits just like this for a couple of years now where Legendaries gain benefits from lower rarity teammates. I hope this synergy concept gets used more often in future champs.
All Plarium really needs to do here is revisit the hound kits to add synergy to those champs when paired with Packmaster.
For example, Fellhound's A2 15% Reflect Damage could become 30% plus ignore shield, block damage, unkillable and ignore 50% defense when Packmaster is on the same team.
Do something like this for each of the hounds and their utility becomes much more useful in a synergy team. They just need to make the hound beasts truly beastly.
I really hope they will but I doubt it. This is a great idea and we want to encourage it.
Fusion + felhound could make interesting hydra taunt team. And yes I have a 6 awaken Felhound camp farmer.
They can end up adding some op "new dogs" to add to his arsenal?!? 🐶 🐕 🐶
So just out of curiosity, do Plarium *always* offer up the missing fragments for these types of fusions if you end up say, 15-20 fragments short by the end of them?
I want to go for this one, but not sure if I'll have the time to fit all the events in?
If getting to 95-90 shards and no offer to just buy my way across the finish line, then I'll skip if the fusion events don't work out for me...
They probably will have a Hound in one of the next fusions in mind

The fusion seems interesting, but none of the dogs do. I might pass on him, unless they buff and/or add more dog champs to his abilities. Otherwise I may just stick with running mino for masteries. Actually been enjoying the lack of events/tournaments worth doing lately, so I can focus on masteries finally.
i think he's such a strong hydra champ if you just throw fellhound in, 100% block buffs with no weak hit or resist, the best taunt in the game that also can't be removed, and reliable hex

Really liking the lack of use for these champs and letting us skip 2 fusions in a row without missing much. That being said there’s probably a comp where you can use this guy instead of emic with Nia. Or someone like that.

@MtgJedi I think its a decent stand alone champ for hydra but I dont see her fitting in one of my teams. And i really don't like the post from plarium hinting on maybe releasing a dog that's actually good. We don't know if that will be a champ that's obtainable or good even.
