It's not that it's that the polls were leaning back towards Biden. The goal here is to keep the race neck and neck so that the ad revenue keeps coming in. All told it's going to be over 16 billion dollars. But if they report it honestly about how competent Joe Biden is and how Trump is going to end democracy and turn America into Soviet Russia then Trump would be pulling at about 20% and the ad revenue would dry up
