Amazing work. This model is definitely on my bucket list. It did hurt my heart a little when you started putting mud on it. It just felt so perfect. But the end product was worth it.
Masterclass! My kid bought me the same model for my birthday (we both love Battlefield 1, and Chamond is my tank of choice), but now I'm scared - I haven't built a model kit in the last 45 years or so, and while I had some skill at my peak as a model wargamer in the 70s, it was nothing compared to what you've just achieved! I'm planning on just spraying mine olive green :D
Thank you very much for your kind words! And don't be afraid. I am sure, in the end it will be a nice model! I think an Olive Green Paintjob is a great Idea and will make everything less complex 😊
Good evening Modelcomrade 😊 This Tank looks extrem! Good Many many Details where looks ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐For the work I hope to see soon the Diorama with the Figures.. Nice Sunday 😅
Just came across your channel today, watched the video and now have subscribed. What an incredible result, amazing presentation and commentary. Will be watching past works for sure!
Perfekte Arbeit. Gratuliere zu so einem schönen Ergebnis. Wunderbar gemacht bis hin zu den kleinsten Details. Wird mit all den anderen Sachen sicherlich ein äußerst interessantes Diorama! Grüße, Joachim
Nice work! I previously built this kit myself, but after watching your video, I may need to look into the update set and stowage set then build another.
Wow totally fantastic i first came across your videos watching airbrush tutorials. you've really got great skills. Can i ask where do you get the spare rivets and bolts you use?
Thank you very much for these very kind words! Indeed, the bolts and rivets I used there are cut from leftover parts of the kit. But there are a lot of additional bolts and rivets available for purchase. I actually use the set "Aber 35A015 Bolts and Nuts" the most. But if you only need round bolts, you can easily and inexpensively cut them out of aluminum foil. In my latest video I show you how to do it :)
A lovely result of your techniques. I definitely will be trying some of these in ways i haven't tried before. Naturally i subscribed and will be checking out your other content. I hope to see you sometime build a nice worn Matilda tank!
Moin, ein sehr spannendes Video und wieder triggerst du meine Leidenschaft - Ich habe mir gleich nach deinem Video den Kit bestellt. Na schönen Dank :-) Gruß condock24😬
Love your approach to apply the mud and dust to the hull and the tracks, in this part you mentioned that the dry mud should be applied in the outer part of the track, is this principle works for any kind of track? Or just for this one?
The rule is not that absolute, but the mud always dries fastest and consequently is brightest in places that are exposed and not in a permanent contact with the ground, or where the mud layer is thin. Therefore, especially the larger mud residues are also wetter and darker in the middle on the side of the hull than the thin dried layers around it. If the Tracks are traveling in permanently damp mud, they are of course completely covered with wet mud :). I hope this helps :)
Thank you very much, I appreciate it! And I highlighted the bolts to increase the contrast, which I feel contributes to a nicer viewing experience as these details become more visible.
One word buddy " EXCELLENT" Nice and realistic paint and weathering job :) Looks cool god job. Keep on the great work . Have a nice weekend and bench time . Stay safe and well buddy :) Greetings Ozzy
Thank you for your comment! And I think, this is not a question of what makes more sense. Both ways are possible and bring certain advantages and disadvantages. Brush painting can take a long time in comparison and you need the airbrush for this cloudy color variation in the camo. :)

Haha thank you, I thought the same thing at first :D

Those tracks are doing my head in.

Thank you! :)
23:22 Great tips! 24:50 I always use brush to splash mud; never thought of using it to make fine chips!!
Thank you very much! And yes, I learnt this technique from a building article from Adam Wilder ☺️

@@ModeliteDiorama Thank you for answering my question.
Great work, more than I could ever do. But why did you highlight all the bolts,
Thank you very much, I appreciate it! And I highlighted the bolts to increase the contrast, which I feel contributes to a nicer viewing experience as these details become more visible.

Merci ☺️
For such sharp Camo patterns doesn't it make more sense to use paint brush instead of air brush?

Make a 1/6 one
do you paint the figures 🤔
