I’m only four months into learning piano (on my own 😬), but it sounds like the variations of the seventh chords play a big role in key modulation. In one of your other videos, you pointed out how you modulated from the key of C to the key of F using the C dominant seventh (I think that’s what you did). I’ve been trying to study that and make it work for other keys. Again, appreciate your videos.
Yes, the dominant seventh chord usually plays a pretty important part of modulation, but there are other ways to do it. I'm sure I'll do a video about different types of modulations in the future, but it might take me a while to get there. I'm glad you're enjoying my videos! Way to learn something new!
