This is one of my favourite songs ever since I heard it during the demo. I'm waiting for their full album release to find out the official title and hopefully lyrics too.
I realized how much this song got into me when I had to ho back to Eidos7 for some sidequests after going through part of the Great Desert. As soon as the stage loaded and I saw the beginning of Silent Street, with the phone booth nearby, and the song started, I got that chill down my spine. Damn fine game.
After finishing this game with all of its ending, with this kind of beautiful background music, it's hard to choose what game I should play next. This game is imprinted in my memory stick forever.

An excellent interpretation of the lyrics. I had the same thoughts about some lyrics here and there. Specially the end "No one knows, but it doesn't matter"
No matter how you interpret the lyrics, most of it can be understood. It’s interesting to point out (in my opinion) that the lyrics were a huge foreshadowing to the ending of the game. Also you missed some lyrics, the part where it says “I’m heart broken, yeah I’m heart broken……but finally the crown will come to me”. Probably the biggest indicator to the “good ending”
Biggest letdown of this game is that they didn’t have more songs like this throughout. This song got into me and then the others were lackluster and typical corny anime jingles

I AGREE!! It has that FF13-2 vibe without a doubt 😊. Umm... but i have no idea about the genre. Electronica is the closest genre I can match it to.
