When we lived with my father in law for a few months I wanted his and our cat to become bff's so badly, but they could not tolerate each other 😭 how long did it take for korra and millie to become used to the other? I loooove the cat door btw! Thank you for making this video ❤
It took quite a long time and some patience for Korra and Millie to adjust to each other. We kept them separate for a while to get used to each others smells and sounds, then introduced the cat door which Millie took to really quite quickly! She wouldn't hang around in the same room as Korra for long though. Next we started to train them in eating next to each other by slowly moving their food closer and closer until they would happily eat together. After that Millie was a lot more tolerant of Korra. It took us about two years in total but that was because we didn't think of training them to eat with each other. That was the big change. Both of them are highly food motivated and their interest in food was more important to them than worrying about what each other were doing. They will never be besties but its nice to have the whole family able to be in the same room together now. The cat door definitely helped give them their space when they needed it.
So sweet so funny corra trying to get her big toy though the dog flap 😂
She was so determined to get that through the dog flap 😂
