As a kid IG-88 was my favorite bounty hunter. His look just creeped me out and this was a bounty Hunter that wouldn't think twice about killing you. Even though we never saw him in action on film you could tell he's an unsettling force to be reckoned with.

I checked all available pics again and again and again. In the bounty hunter scene he has the same height as Darth Vader (2,02m) but Iggy is standing in background and one step down. So it must be something between 2,35...and 2,45m.

Love it! Ig88 really came to life in shadows of the empire where I became an even bigger fan of the character.

He was, according to the books IG88 was the second best bounty hunter and was second only to Boba Fett so he definitely had a reputation

Yes, he is 2,45m (8 feet) tall, confirmed by Bill Hargreaves, the prop builder of the original IG-88 in Empire strikes back.
