Portaventuras operations are always weird 😂 last year sometimes they were so good we had ten back to back rides on dragon Kahn, but we also spent an entire week failing to get on templo del fuego, once getting locked in the queue line 😭
Uncharted looks great! I know the Thusies thought it looked tame, but they're generally not happy unless coasters are 900 foot tall 12 launch monsters. Looks like a great addition, and another reason to escape the heat.
Shawn and Charlotte, I had the same problem with Shambhala back in April. Me and my partner joined the single rider queue after a bad experience the day before and when we joined the SR queue we pin pointed a group of girls to see how far they got in the main queue in comparison to us. Unfortunately they ended up on the same train as us, so our SR queue didn’t move much. So much queue jumping too. I’m not sure why the operations are poor on this ride and in other across the park but something needs to change! Otherwise, I love this park, it’s absolutely gorgeous!
Just got back from a week staying at the Hotel Gold River. The park itself was good but the operations were so slow and the rides broke down frequently. Ferrari Land was underwhelming apart from Red Force but thankfully I didn't have to pay extra for it as it was included in my deal!

I headed to portaventura today and the wait times honestly weren't too bad , furious bacu had a wait time of 1hr 30 but my friends went on express and were only 10 mins ahead of us , very oversold
So sorry to see how poorly Shambhala was being operated, I got a walk on last year from the single rider queue! It reminds me of my experience queuing for Ride To Happiness at Plopsaland de Panne last year when there were 5 minute dispatches, meaning I got in the queue at about 3:30PM and didn't get off the ride till after park close.
If I’m totally honest 💯 I must admit I live everyday for these amazing epic vlogs on so many levels learning about various apps food outlets riding park opening closing times travel transport the food options so much more to mention, with these very impressive global theme parks especially when you can where povs are permitted as safety is paramount as always however oh my days these on ride POVs are what I absolutely 👍 enjoy and love 💕 watching these the most with your funny 😆 humorous banter screams of delight excitement on some of these sheer crazy 😜 insane intense rides I’m totally loving it 😍 so much these vlogs really do your TPWW channel justice Port Adventura looks awesome 😎 Thank you for sharing
love this place and salou in general we used to go mid june when the park is open until midnight with firework display ( not sure if they still do that) last visited 6 yrs ago. only downside in the theme park was the local teenagers queue jumping but still its a fantastic place
PortAventura has not just bad operations but it's just poorly managed all round. Connect the two parks together up the price of the main ticket by about €8-€10. Limit fast track to one ride only not unlimited! Those are a few things I would do!
This is my first and only abroad park I’ve been to and it is such an amazing park! Just went to Blackpool yesterday and Valhalla was running no effects because it just broke down 😢😂
PortAventura World as an Amusement Park looks great with some great rides & theming throughout the park. But they do definitely need to significantly improve the operations there so guests can have a much better enjoyable time at the park as paying customers. In regards to operations at the park they need to get there act together & sort it out.
Hi lovelies thankyou for the port ventura blog went there when my son was 10 he's 38 now lol memories of him going on the bumping cars I think they were bills and we went into that Indiana type dark ride and all went well u till the kind of rope bridge we were stood on did that drop and my son was really frightened he would have run off if I had not had got hold of him the one thing that really stuck with me was the show went to see with the hoola girls in the grass skirts doing the dancing and the canoes sailing round when the guys came with them I love that music the girls were stunning and looked amazing we also saw the floats on the lakes but the jet guys were not part of it then we gad a great day xxxx
Just got back from the park today. They definitely improved with operations. They always made sure not a single seat was missed and the trains were getting dispatched quickly. This is my new favourite park

I remember the Busch/Sea World company had a partnership with this park during opening season then sold off its share interest. It would be interesting how the park would be today with the Sea World/Busch company still had a partnership with the park today.

Oh my, those queues. I've been to port aventura a couples of times and experienced my fair share aswell, for example a 3 hour wait for Furious Baco as the first ride of the day :D. Or 2 hours for Huracan Condor. However, this comfirms my theory that one simply has to get express passes when visiting Port Aventura, I will for sure get them the next time!
I was at Port Aventura for the opening week of Uncharted June 17th, it's a fantastic ride I'm sure you'll love it, while this ride had huge queues for that opening weekend overall I felt an improvement with operations across the park apart from one bad day where the park was mobbed with teenagers for some kind of local school holiday but the majority of 4 days we visted all the major rides stayed under an hour apart from that one day. Had my little 5 year old with me this year and he's turned into a little thrill seeker loved all the coasters he was tall enough to go on (just over 1.2m) he even got 2 Tatuki Specials but he wanted really Red Force, Shamabala and Furious Baco. Promosied to take him back in a few years when he he's tall enough to go on everything.
Just came back today from here today. Stampida, awesome coaster but rough, makes it fun though. Shambhala, thinking of trying this next time i go, i need to do big one first at blackpool! Uncharted, didnt go on as wait was too long or they didnt let amyone else on. Great theme park and great last few days
Think you're right about Uncharted...to many dark spots and not enough physical sets. However, an indoor family coaster was needed at PA. I'm still looking fwd to giving it a few rides this year though.....these ops better pick up by then!
I went in june and it wasnt that bad on shammy then, we waited on the breaks for maybe 2-3m and I thought It was a bit slow then. and its so strang to see you call draggon kahn "not rough" my and gf had to take a long lunch break because we both felt like we got spinal'd on that coaster. it was so bad
We were there on the Friday and agree operations were terrible. One thing of note, the amount of queue jumpers! Way more than any other park I've been to. Never saw anyone attempt to stop them all day aside from myself & partner. Are queues just not a thing in Spain?
Stampida looked rough here! It’s funny to think I had to take my rucksack on with me when I rode it and needed to hold on to my water bottle as we were going round as it was slipping out of the side compartment 😬😅
Great video as always. Funny thing about when i used to go to parks, we always knew we would wait at least an hour because they were always packed with people and we didnt once mention the word "operations" lol. Just knew when its crowded you wait. Also never looked for theming either. Mind you this was a thousand years ago and we weren't you tubers, just wanted to ride.

Uncharted the actual game is about the adventures of archeologist Nathan Drake and his trials to get artifacts at great danger. He often goes into very hostile situations with often mercenaries trying to kill him. The games take us from the deserts of the Middle East, the jungles of Cambodia, even to Persia. Honestly the ride would fit quite well into the mythos as Nathan would go pretty much anywhere to get the artifact. Honestly the closest real life counterpart is Josh gates right now. Josh often ventures into hostile territories to find the truth about ancient civilizations. He had a heck of a time in Cambodia trying to recover Kamir artifacts which are still lost. He also was in Africa just before the civil war broke out, he was looking into the lost mummies of Egypt of one particular period in history.
been to port adventura a few times years ago but havnt experienced shambala and cant wait to. I am however a bit disappointed on the staffs lac of co ordination with the loading and unloading process and lac of splash . good video guys eep it up
Dragon Khan 🤩 my favourite ride in the park! Shambolic Shambala ops, such a shame, but such an epic ride. I always remember feeling very exposed on that lift hill, sitting on a little open seat with only a lap restraint. All part of the experience though 😅
Damn, I was there recently. 3 weeks before the opening of Uncharted. Wish I could have taken a ride on this thing, but at least the operations at Shambala were better and waiting times were decent. Can´t have it all, right? Great vlog guys!
On a vacation to Porta for 2 weeks, have to say that im not that dissapointed about the operations. Sometimes operations stall a bit but i feel like they do go for capacity. I might be going on the best days though i have no idea.

Just went last week. First visit and wow shambala is incredible. Uncharted was good but as you said it was too open rather than seeming like a more linear story coaster

Nice video from both of you, Chessington WOA was like this on the weekend both myself and my friend visited the park with both Dragons Fury & even at times throughout day Jumanji's Mandrill Mayhem being shut, causing loads of bad queues. Also, my friend didn't like the app & I agree with him, think they really still need a second train on that via somehow a transfer track and second station? Aswell long queues or a new another coaster or attraction added in park? Especially as Vampire was in end on 80 minutes, Cobra on 60 minutes aswell other rides & attractions at same times, either a new coaster added at the park in place of Dragons Fury as keeps braking down, a second train on Mandrill Mayhem somehow? Another new ride / attraction in World of Jumanji? Or add more trains on all rides & coasters in park to deal with busy queues or have fast passes lowered priced as saw one with £10.00 per fast track there, bit expensive if for each ride which I think it was? But with this park, which compared to Merlin is more International is a disgrace, especially doing a me from Ride Sims, letting loads of empty seats go to waste, thats 100% a joke. Fill them up, especially with loads of people waiting two hours for a ride, absolute joke 100%. I think Chessington did that aswell? Empty seats on some rides? Uncharted, theming on outside looks ok, think could do with a little bit more theming, but inside maybe with queues, space them out a bit & make it less cramped. Maybe yeah add more theming inside to add to the story? Shame on Stampida, can imagine it being rattly, went on Grand National years ago, that was a 100% bone shaker, didn't reride again throughout our day, it was that bad, decided nope. Might ride it again if visit Blackpool? But well see, but from what I saw from this video, if you say it needs a retrack and new trains, I agree. I mean trains don't look that comfortable anyways, would love to see new trains a.k.a the ones you mentioned. Nice video & vlog, really enjoyed and look forward to seeing more & day two vlog soon. I’m sorry but even on the front row Dragon Khan was sooo rough. When I saw those interlocking corkscrews I was bracing myself so much 😂😂 my head was smacking side to side so many times 😂
If Universal were to buy the park, and then cut a deal with Ferrari Land to merge the two parks together, that would be amazing. I mean, completely unrealistic, but one can always dream, can't one?
I was here yesterday and made the mistake of going on a Sunday. I didn't want to wait two hours for the big rides so only managed Uncharted. Loved the ride but had no idea the queueline would take 1hr 20mins because it looked so short outside the building. Everyone in the queue were exhausted in the heat with one man laying into the staff shouting. We missed the firework lake show because it Uncharted broke down and took so long. Very disappointed but hoping today will be a better day.
I will spend one day at the both parks in October. It is gonna be my first ever visit, but we dont have much time in Barcelona, so I only have one day. I am really happy that I am able to ride another new for 2023 Coaster (The other New Coaster was Eat my Dust at Walibi Holland). I am also really happy to ride Furius Baco, Red Force and Shambala for the first time😊
Amazing Vlog Shawn did a great job and the Uncharted Ride Look Great along with the pov even if it was dark for most of it but i got to say who ever was riding in the same coaster with you and charlotte on Uncharted they were super Annoying and really silly
It never occurred to me that Templo Del Fuego was seasonal. I thought it had just closed. I'll have to find an excuse to drive up and give it another try in the summer. Any idea what they consider "summer" so I can go when it's not so hot?
We went to PortAventura last summer, one week before the holidays. It was crowded with school classes und and the queues were even more full with 2+ hours on Shambala, Dragon Khan and Furious Baco. Believe me when I say I loved the rides and the theming of the park, but waiting for so long in 35°C really destroyed our whole experience. My boyfriend doesn't even want to visit anymore even though we have a free entry from our Europa Park pass lol I really enjoyed watching the vlog but I'm rather happy, that I'm not the one standing in those loooong long queues again. Hope they fix this at some point!
The worst thing is we got back from 2 weeks there , a week before your here so the shammyB fountain has been out for at least 3 weeks Condor has only been on two towers the entire time aswell And it seems that’s just the way stampida runs now , we had a bit of rain on one of our rides on the back row around 9pm ish , we genuinely thought it was going to derail it was that rough , and like you guys said the layout it very very good , with GCI’s that’s probably a top 20 woody
@@CoasterRob think they need to up there game , stampida needs new cars and has done for years Baco is terrible, condor only half is on , khan imo is also in decline and is getting rougher by the year They will start to fall away with the likes of Europa , phantansia , Energylandia constantly improving
This park gets so much hate for its operations… we just came back from our third visit in 4 years and have never experienced such problems. Waiting time for Shambhala was never longer than 20 minutes, no express pass needed. Rode it 5 times. Longest wait was for Furius Baco, 30‘ approximately. I would highly recommend visiting this park in autumn if possible. And not on weekends. We got a 1 day/2 parks-ticket. Unfortunately Red force was down shortly after Ferrari Land opened (at 5 pm), but we got a free entry for the next day (ticket would have been valid for three months). Seems very customer-friendly to me.
Ahh I just came back from portaventura 2 days ago and it was my first time, also my first time in any rollar coaster! So of course I went on Shambhala first😂 I miss it so much , I also went on uncharted spoiler free and I absolutely loved it , bit claustrophobic in the Que but it was worth it. Also stampeda broke down just as it was my turn but it started again about 30 minutes later 🤣 definitely will return

Uncharted the actual game is about the adventures of archeologist Nathan Drake and his trials to get artifacts at great danger. He often goes into very hostile situations with often mercenaries trying to kill him. The games take us from the deserts of the Middle East, the jungles of Cambodia, even to Persia. Honestly the ride would fit quite well into the mythos as Nathan would go pretty much anywhere to get the artifact.
Honestly the closest real life counterpart is Josh gates right now. Josh often ventures into hostile territories to find the truth about ancient civilizations. He had a heck of a time in Cambodia trying to recover Kamir artifacts which are still lost. He also was in Africa just before the civil war broke out, he was looking into the lost mummies of Egypt of one particular period in history.

been to port adventura a few times years ago but havnt experienced shambala and cant wait to. I am however a bit disappointed on the staffs lac of co ordination with the loading and unloading process and lac of splash . good video guys eep it up
Dragon Khan 🤩 my favourite ride in the park! Shambolic Shambala ops, such a shame, but such an epic ride. I always remember feeling very exposed on that lift hill, sitting on a little open seat with only a lap restraint. All part of the experience though 😅

Damn, I was there recently. 3 weeks before the opening of Uncharted. Wish I could have taken a ride on this thing, but at least the operations at Shambala were better and waiting times were decent. Can´t have it all, right? Great vlog guys!

On a vacation to Porta for 2 weeks, have to say that im not that dissapointed about the operations. Sometimes operations stall a bit but i feel like they do go for capacity. I might be going on the best days though i have no idea.

Soooo crazy interesting this big beautiful theme park wil be a new universal park resort soon , so much patents have been made and confirmed, expansions too with harry potter ,mario, Jurassic park and more , hotel resorts and brand new city shopping entertainment center area too. I wonder of the big news be said on new years !!!

Just went last week. First visit and wow shambala is incredible. Uncharted was good but as you said it was too open rather than seeming like a more linear story coaster

Nice video from both of you, Chessington WOA was like this on the weekend both myself and my friend visited the park with both Dragons Fury & even at times throughout day Jumanji's Mandrill Mayhem being shut, causing loads of bad queues. Also, my friend didn't like the app & I agree with him, think they really still need a second train on that via somehow a transfer track and second station? Aswell long queues or a new another coaster or attraction added in park? Especially as Vampire was in end on 80 minutes, Cobra on 60 minutes aswell other rides & attractions at same times, either a new coaster added at the park in place of Dragons Fury as keeps braking down, a second train on Mandrill Mayhem somehow? Another new ride / attraction in World of Jumanji? Or add more trains on all rides & coasters in park to deal with busy queues or have fast passes lowered priced as saw one with £10.00 per fast track there, bit expensive if for each ride which I think it was? But with this park, which compared to Merlin is more International is a disgrace, especially doing a me from Ride Sims, letting loads of empty seats go to waste, thats 100% a joke. Fill them up, especially with loads of people waiting two hours for a ride, absolute joke 100%. I think Chessington did that aswell? Empty seats on some rides? Uncharted, theming on outside looks ok, think could do with a little bit more theming, but inside maybe with queues, space them out a bit & make it less cramped. Maybe yeah add more theming inside to add to the story? Shame on Stampida, can imagine it being rattly, went on Grand National years ago, that was a 100% bone shaker, didn't reride again throughout our day, it was that bad, decided nope. Might ride it again if visit Blackpool? But well see, but from what I saw from this video, if you say it needs a retrack and new trains, I agree. I mean trains don't look that comfortable anyways, would love to see new trains a.k.a the ones you mentioned. Nice video & vlog, really enjoyed and look forward to seeing more & day two vlog soon. I like how the water slide behind Uncharted is in just the right place that it looks like a little hut on the top of the cliff.

Have a great time! I’d recommend starting on the smaller coasters like El Diablo and Tami Tami before working up to Stampida followed by the big boys!

Why are you walking a lot in the Uncharted queue Line after the office ? It’s like there was nobody after this point !
I was here yesterday and made the mistake of going on a Sunday. I didn't want to wait two hours for the big rides so only managed Uncharted. Loved the ride but had no idea the queueline would take 1hr 20mins because it looked so short outside the building. Everyone in the queue were exhausted in the heat with one man laying into the staff shouting. We missed the firework lake show because it Uncharted broke down and took so long. Very disappointed but hoping today will be a better day.

I will spend one day at the both parks in October. It is gonna be my first ever visit, but we dont have much time in Barcelona, so I only have one day. I am really happy that I am able to ride another new for 2023 Coaster (The other New Coaster was Eat my Dust at Walibi Holland). I am also really happy to ride Furius Baco, Red Force and Shambala for the first time😊
Amazing Vlog Shawn did a great job and the Uncharted Ride Look Great along with the pov even if it was dark for most of it but i got to say who ever was riding in the same coaster with you and charlotte on Uncharted they were super Annoying and really silly

It never occurred to me that Templo Del Fuego was seasonal. I thought it had just closed. I'll have to find an excuse to drive up and give it another try in the summer.

We went to PortAventura last summer, one week before the holidays. It was crowded with school classes und and the queues were even more full with 2+ hours on Shambala, Dragon Khan and Furious Baco. Believe me when I say I loved the rides and the theming of the park, but waiting for so long in 35°C really destroyed our whole experience. My boyfriend doesn't even want to visit anymore even though we have a free entry from our Europa Park pass lol
I really enjoyed watching the vlog but I'm rather happy, that I'm not the one standing in those loooong long queues again. Hope they fix this at some point!

When I went to portaventure park a couple week’s ago on shambalaand the dispatch time was 1 minute to 1:30 so I think it depends on the operator
The worst thing is we got back from 2 weeks there , a week before your here so the shammyB fountain has been out for at least 3 weeks
Condor has only been on two towers the entire time aswell
And it seems that’s just the way stampida runs now , we had a bit of rain on one of our rides on the back row around 9pm ish , we genuinely thought it was going to derail it was that rough , and like you guys said the layout it very very good , with GCI’s that’s probably a top 20 woody

Baco is terrible, condor only half is on , khan imo is also in decline and is getting rougher by the year

This park gets so much hate for its operations… we just came back from our third visit in 4 years and have never experienced such problems. Waiting time for Shambhala was never longer than 20 minutes, no express pass needed. Rode it 5 times. Longest wait was for Furius Baco, 30‘ approximately. I would highly recommend visiting this park in autumn if possible. And not on weekends.
We got a 1 day/2 parks-ticket. Unfortunately Red force was down shortly after Ferrari Land opened (at 5 pm), but we got a free entry for the next day (ticket would have been valid for three months). Seems very customer-friendly to me.

Ahh I just came back from portaventura 2 days ago and it was my first time, also my first time in any rollar coaster! So of course I went on Shambhala first😂 I miss it so much , I also went on uncharted spoiler free and I absolutely loved it , bit claustrophobic in the Que but it was worth it. Also stampeda broke down just as it was my turn but it started again about 30 minutes later 🤣 definitely will return
