I loved the rebellious feel of the unpredictable camera movement with runners in the distance, the blurred pass-by shots adding an impressionist touch, especially the intriguing shots from behind the spectators.
truly the worst quality ive ever seen for broadcasting a meet. there is no reason why DII and DIII shouldnt have the same quality from the back of a cart like DI has. shameful
@ they are barely slower and I would say equally if not more entertaining because it isn’t primarily Kenyans up front pace pushing for 8k. Also the investment to make the quality the same as DI is so extraordinarily low that money isn’t a good argument.
It’s not I just skip to the end to see if I would’ve come dead last or not with my time, the sad thing is I wouldn’t have, I would’ve actually came in around 50th
I just want to point out that the information that the commentator gives is incredibly wrong. If you are going to give coverage to a meet, at least get someone who is knowledgeable. Nationals were hosted on this same course in 2019, Loic Scomparin finished 10th at the national meet last year, and the individuals to watch did not include quite a few of the best guys.
Just came here to say this was possibly the worst quality I’ve ever seen, embarrassing
Have you watched the women’s D1 race. It’s unwatchable. This isn’t any better to be fair.
Camera man definitely recorded high school fights for work experience
😂 I’m dead
😂😂😂

Maybe because they make less money and they are slower and less entertaining

@@zHudsonMC They are a lot slower. He would've gotten around 40th place in the D1 race.
@ the conditions is this race are fucking terrible compared to Madison this year
Take it you didn't see the quality of the D1 women's race 😂
Seriously how hard is it to get decent coverage for national level meet I’ve seen high school races covered better
I could have given better footage with just me and my mountain bike 🤣
3:30 into the race and all I see is grass flying by. Pitiful camera work.
Can the NCAA really not spare equipment for ESPN for 2 other races
Why is coverage of D2 and D3 so embarrassing? This is not even worth watching.

@@bryangarcia6623were you there? Did you run the race?
Same at 5:00 into the race!

What about the DII women's race?
Yeah, NXR for the boys high school national meets coverage is way better than this. Lame.
This is a joke of a broadcast. Thank you for filming the grass from the back of the cart. MAJOR FAIL!
