In return, anpanman becomes weak and has to return back to the workshop for a new head so he can keep helping hurt children. The concept of the cartoon is a little ridiculous (but adorable imo) so people always say anpanman’s not a real superhero :( Basically Bangtan’s trying to make the point that they’re not superheroes but they can still be ARMY’s anpanman and protect us and make us happy even if it might hurt them. (I’ll just be here crying if you need me)

I knew they were going to reference the cartoon. But if you take a away the cool vibe, the lyrics are actually really sad. Anpanman is arafter depressing character.
