Ahhh isnt it amazing the joy we can get from days on the beach? There seems to be a wonderful amount of joy to get from there, and somewhere I would love to visit myself!
the beach has some lovely sand! Looks like at a different time of the year it could be filled with visitors! Nice to see it so quiet at an off peak time though!
As local careful of the water some people have reported getting pink eye and it's usually extremely crowded in summer and intense and no parking. So go in off season
Hub and I were there a few months ago (off season) and it was great! Very quiet, not crazy busy and my hub got to do some fishing (which is why we visited.) Have fun... it is a fun place to be!
Quite a bit to do. Mini golfing, beautiful beach, beach bars. I'd love to grab a bike and just cruise down. Oh getting on the water would be epic. It's like Bar Harbor in the early spring or late fall. Most places are closed until the summer months.
Beautiful area! I had no idea it was the world's longest freshwater beach, which is great as you mentioned it is easy to park and I am impressed how wide open it is! It doesn't seem crowded at all. Great place to go for a bike ride or run with 14kms to travel. 🚴♀
I can imagine Wasaga being very popular high season. Its really a beautiful beach and loved how you highlight all the things to do. Even a bike repair wow 👌 as always you are very informative. Another great video 🙂🙂
Wow... that's a amazing trip. Didn't know anything about this before. It's always good to follow fellow vloggers from other countries. There are a plenty to learn about places.... 🙂🙂.
beautiful wasaga beach, fine white sand along the beach. and a souvenir shop, and a small golf course for entertainment. thank you to show me Wasaga Beach ... love it
Bummer there isn't a brewery 🍺 or winery 🍷 but I guess the beach bar will have to do 😁 overall this beach looks very nice. I would be curious to see how busy it gets during high season.
We camped at Craighleigh last year in July I over heard someone say u can use your pass to park at the Wasaga Provincial park parking lots for free using your camping pass so we went on the Saturday around noon and parked their for the day since we were due in Mount Forest for 7 pm for a Festival of fireworks and had no where to go after camping so we parked in beach area 7 or 8 and it was only a 20 minute walk to the main strip of the beach we went late in the day as mention and had not much of a issue getting into the parking lot I believe first one we went to was full we went to next one and it was fine .. but we parked their all day and walked around to kill time the place was legit packed everywhere I believe it's about 18 bucks per car to get into the Wasaga Provincial parks parking lot if you dont have a pass from Craighleigh and believe their is roughly 10 of them but all and all if you camp their its cool your pass works for wasaga found alot of sister parks share stuff like this .. like McGregor Point and Lion's Head or Presq'uile and Ferris etc.
@TheAverageTourist definitely check out craighleigh if u go back that way for a short stay not alot to do but nice park for a day or two if u can overlook the highway next door but definitely recommend checking out meatford and Thornbury, very beautiful small towns.
Will have to check that out. It was supposed to go to Craigleith last year but they had an issue with power on the site we booked so we switched to a different park. Maybe we can try for September!
@TheAverageTourist recommend off-season will probably guarantee you a more private time so September would be good as this park is fairly open and not spaced far apart we actually went down one of these weekends in July last year on a Friday night we booked it 2 weeks in advance I didn't have to much interest in going and I actual enjoyed it I got some of my pictures posted from my trip under Google review posted by d snow under craighleigh. I have found in the 10 years going that last 2 years we have gone to a few parks I had no interest in going and I enjoyed them more then I thought I would
Wow. !! Take it easy. Ok. She said it correctly. You are not the owner of this name. Please don’t fall into this nature!! She said it PERFECTLY and you owe her an apology for your rudeness! Not nice !

The beach looks good and the area has lot of things to offer. It can easily be a wonderful day outing. Nice tips.
It really is! And thanks.
Such an amazing beach. It has so many attractions and lots of enjoyment but the best thing is the weather and the views
Couldn't agree more!
How charming! I like that you and Alan got to stroll down the beach all by yourself. That's definitely a benefit of going in the off season.
It really is! Much more enjoyable without the crowds.
Oh there is so much to do around the beach. The mini golf looks fun. I think it’s s great that they have bike repair stations - such a good idea
Yes, the bike repair stations seemed pretty handy. It's a great area to visit.
So much to do and see here in Wasaga. I really liked how you counted down all the fun ways to enjoy this pretty beach.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love mini golfing, it’s always a fun afternoon. Looks like there are plenty of great options all around.
Couldn't agree more!
Came back to enjoy it again.

We enjoyed the quiet visit to the area

Yikes about the pink eye 🫣
NICE AND INTERESTING PLACE TO EXPLORE. THANKS FOR SHARING
Thanks!
The beach looks nice, great tips on being prepared for the beach day too. The parking looks quite expensive close to the beach.
Thank you, and thanks for watching!

Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed it in the off season too. Weather wasn't the greatest but it was nice that it wasn't crowded.

A truly lovely town.
Yes there is a lot to do in the area. We really enjoyed touring around.
This place looks incredible. I like your video. Watching and listening to this video I felt like I was there. I'm waiting for a new video
Thank you very much!
I have been here once with my sister and friend really nice spot. It's a nice big beach. Great video
Thanks very much! We enjoyed the visit but will need to go back during prime summer season 👌
Beautiful area! I had no idea it was the world's longest freshwater beach, which is great as you mentioned it is easy to park and I am impressed how wide open it is! It doesn't seem crowded at all. Great place to go for a bike ride or run with 14kms to travel. 🚴♀
Thanks for watching! We were there on a cooler day in June. In main summer season it's usually very busy.
Best and Nice Wonderful beach WASSAGA
It's a great camping site. It has plenty of area for everyone and easily can accommodate group of people.
We really enjoyed.
I can imagine Wasaga being very popular high season. Its really a beautiful beach and loved how you highlight all the things to do. Even a bike repair wow 👌 as always you are very informative. Another great video 🙂🙂
Thank you so much 😊 It's quite the popular spot in the summer.

It gets rather busy, but maybe not as busy as some of the Florida beaches you visit!
@@TheAverageTourist 😆 you are probably right about that!
I hear there's a Wasaga Beach Brewing company there.
Planning to go today 😂
Enjoy!

Oh I wish I knew about the parking! Will have to try that next time we are camping near there.

I think the correct pronounciation is Wah-sah-gah Beach.
Thanks!
Is parking free?
No, it's paid parking
14 things if you include pooping in a tent on the beach
I'll stick with just the 13! 😳
@@TheAverageTourist Just watch your step
👍
🎉😁😃
I live there
The water looks dirty as shit
Dis is me
water is not clean
Don't forget to poo on the beach.

Please pronounce Wasaga-Beach correct. It's a native word and please appreciate this. Next time please correct this. Thank you❤
Thank you for posting... YES, at the very least, pronounce it properly.

@@charlierose7309she said it right!!! Totally uncalled for!
So I’ve been mispronouncing it :/
