@@Fabio_26 I'm not terribly familiar with them but the algorithm brought me here. Only thing I'm not a fan of is "this is the strongest class" and then it's a class with triple prime basically maxed gear, where given those criteria all classes are insanely strong
@@mkwsoxfan Xenon has by far the highest burst damage of any class in GMS reboot (yes, even when controlling for gear progression and Combat Power). They aren't saying its the strongest class because of the showcase - it is (or at least is top 3 with Night Walker and Mercedes) and these showcases are meant to display to and educate the greater community who might not be aware of how classes perform in GMS Reboot at end-game progression
@@nmtiger I understand that but they routinely us buzz words and clickbait esque titles. Perhaps an actual ranking would make it more clear, it doesn't have to be the literal best numerical ranking per class, but maybe if they gave some value to how strong the classes at this funding compare it would be more helpful. Their verbal reactions being "wow that's powerful" are nearly identical for all classes, so it would be nice to get some insight beyond that

Omega laser is really awkward to use imo. Also, the burst set up is absolutely ass to do, however, a lot of classes suffer from ability bloat these days so its not just a xenon thing. also no horozonal dash sucks.
i never thought to use a foot pedal for omega laser but that actually would seriously improve playing this class for me. I wish you could just press it once to start charging and then press again to release it like photon ray though...
Yes, worth funding in the endgame, but is really the hardest to fund character (if you're gunning for All Stats trace in regular servers, and All Stats% potential and Additional Potential, as it's the lowest rate in potting), but this Swiss Army Android goes places.
This is purely based on theory (thinking of Xenon as my next hyperburn), but I'm not that worried when it comes to funding it, at least in reboot Yes, it costs a lot to reach its maximum potential, but I just see it as having a higher ceiling rather than requiring more to perform well A lot of people seem to ignore the fact that having 3 main stats means that you typically get way more main stat from flames and starforcing, which is pretty good for Xenon in a meta where you get a lot of your power from just reaching 17* gear before you need to start working on some cheap 2L potentials that will last you until your next gear replacement. Xenon also gets to buy duplicates for his Emblems and Secondaries, so he actually gets to save a lot of meso when cubing for 3L Emblem especially. The hardest part of Xenon funding for awhile would probably be nodestones, cuz 14 boost node skills is pretty rough. That's why I'm planning to wait for the Milestone update, which should come out in the Winter, to be able to craft optimal trinodes and get Xenon into 5th job ASAP.
