Thankful for your teaching, Pastor Gary! Listening from So. Calif!! Husband and I are starting the Revelation study!! We so appreciate your perspective and words of wisdom re the current conflict in Gaza!! The church needs God’s perspective especially as we see so much hatred around the world directed towards Israel!!! We stand with Israel!! And are asking God to use us in these last days!!
I do wonder if David shed any tears for his beautiful daughter, Tamar!!
I was challenged by a pastor who encouraged believers to be spending more time in God’s word and hearing from Him than watching the news!! Yes!!
God bless you Pastor Gary!! Thank you for your faithful exposition of God’s word!! ❤ Praying for our country and Israel!!! That many will come to Christ as Lord and Savior. For the peace of Jerusalem. 🇮🇱🇺🇸☝️💫💛

Deuteronomy 20:1-4 KJVS - When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
2 And it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people,
    3 And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them;
4 For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.

Very appropriate for this time in history. Amen. Yes, continue to pray for Israel. Pray for the lost in Gaza to repent and be saved. God wishes for no man to perish.
I try to remember, even in the anger I have seeing unbelievers protesting against Israel and the Jewish people.
Please know the Bible, Israel will still have many deaths, but God will save His remnant in His timing.
Amir Tsarfati is a friend of Pastor Gary, Amir is a Jewish Pastor, who has many teachings of prophecies and the Israel history. Amir is building a CONNECT to teach the unbelievers in Israel. Pray, donate, and understand why we stand with Israel...Shalom ❤

    Very interesting I
Have been stuck on revelation these past few months ( seems the world is heading there , when God only knows )then you were studying 2 Samuel and it became very interesting the way you told the story . I do hope I pick up on your next reading of 2 Samuel although I am going to read some of it now and see how much I can retain . Thank you ,Samuel was loved by God but it seems his sins were forgiven but his atonement for them were not paid ( justice ) ? Was there justice at all in the Old Testament ? I guess there was . I knew a family that had four children . Three of the 4 killed themselves ! We all wondered if they had a curse on them !

I've never taken that verse to mean anything about children going to heaven. I always took it as, the child is dead/in the ground, so will he be one day. I don't know that it's wise to build an entire theology on an issue on one sort of vague verse. But if it is correct what he's saying, then great. I just don't see how you get that from one verse that is not particularly in depth or clear.

      In Hebrews 9:27
      It does say:
And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.
Remember the old testament saints, were in paradise, until Jesus rose from the dead. Now everyone from paradise and throughout these 2000 plus year, we die to be immediately with Jesus.
You just need a good bible teacher.
      Pastor Gary Hamrick is great.
Pastor Jack Hibbs is great. Pastor Jack is in Romans on Sunday and Hebrews on Wednesday.
Amir Tsarfati is a great prophecy teacher, he's actually living in Israel, he's a Jewish Christian Pastor.
I've been following these main three pastors for 4 years now, my knowledge, my life is better for it.
      Amen. Shalom ❤

I suspect David was plagued by condemnation and thus he refused to make amends or engage with his family. Secondly, some prophetic words in the OT don't have a contingency. The word of rebuke from the LORD through Nathan is one such prophecy. There is no contingency; rather a flat resounding, "...you blew it big time and you will live with it, period." This may explain why David became so passive. He lost his fight after he had so greatly displeased the LORD.

Amnon being first son is in a position of "annointed" to be king...I think Davids hands were tied as with Saul. I can see where Absoloms simmering hatred of his father started. Its hard not to empathise with him and poor little condemned Tamar. The tragedy of this is palpable! No one went to God...not Amnon, not Tamar, not Absolom and not David. God is nowhere in this story which is tragic too.

Are we purposefully ignoring and not speaking or teaching about what is going on with Israel and Gaza during these days??
I've been tuning in to hear what the church has to say and NOTHING! Is the church concerned about rocking the boat or ruffling feathers? What happened to boldly teaching God's word? 🤔

Calling out to my Christian brothers and sisters. Please re-evaluate the bible. Especially, the verse Samuel 15:3 where god commanded the killings of children and babies. Samuel 15:3 - “Go and attack the Amalekites! Destroy them and all their possessions. Don't have any pity. Kill their men, women, children, and even their babies.”. Clearly, this is illogical as God is merciful. He won't allow a sinful act to punish sins. Don’t let the church deceived you with a tampered scripture.

There is nothing to re-evaluate in Gods word. You’re implying that God was wrong.
No. There was no pity from God to the Amalekites. The Amalek destruction goes all the way back to Genesis 36:11 continues through the Bible.
1st Samuel 15:2-3: the command to utterly destroy the enemy (men, women, children & babies), was reserved for nations that rebelled against all things holy. This was God‘s most severe judgment, and it stopped the spread of pagan practices among GODS CHOSEN PEOPLE. (Deut 20:16-17. Josh. 6:17-21) Actions have consequences, good or bad. His command to kill everyone (including children & babies) was His way to wipeout their spread of pagan practices. But Saul didn’t abide.
Fast forward to today’s fallen world. There is rampant spread of pagan practices against God. Every single person has the free will to follow God. If we CHOOSE to follow the Lord, our reward is eternal life with Him in paradise. If we CHOOSE not to, it’s eternal life in hell. Again, actions have consequences whether good or bad.

@@HillbillyAcresSoapery 1. What have the babies done that justifies for their killings by the bible god?
      2. The bible says "thou shall not kill". But in the case of the Amalekites, the bible god has sanctioned the killings. Contradicting his own words not to kill.
      3. Yes, Saul did not abide by the evil command. As such, Saul is seen as more compassionate than the bible god. Man more merciful than god does not make sense.
      4. You said the bible god ordered the genocide to wipe out paganism. But paganism still exist today even in christianity with the tri god system and human blood sacrifice.
      5. Evidently, this verse has done more harm than good. This verse has inspired today's genocide. Netanyahu the terrorist has quoted this verse to justify his genocide in Palestine.
      6. I suspect this verse is a corruption of the bible by the bloodthirsty pagan church.

      3. You said the purpose is to wipe out paganism. But paganism still exists today including in christianity. So it was a useless attempt by your god. The babies died in vain.
      4. Yes, Saul did not fulfil the command. So Saul is more merciful than your god. Its just ridiculous to have a man more compassionate than god.
      5. This is not the only genocide sanctioned by the bible god. There are many. Turning the bible god as a bloodthirsty god.
