Great piece. So much happening behind the scenes that we fear to talk about. Way forward? We need more and more tools that empower people to speak up as well as find the support they need.

    Lovely piece.
A lot of people are suffering and we need to let them know it's okay to speak up.
Well done to the entire team.

This is such a beautiful piece,, there is a story behind who we are today, be it positive or negative- with this awareness relationships are going to improve and people will tone down on judging others.
Let's also talk about this weapon of shame that the enemy uses to keep people in bondage. 2:36

I know a family where an older cousin used to molest the 4 girls he had been left to watch over. One of them got pregnant 😢
The blame was put on her.
She never had even spoken up that her periods had started. She feared speaking up because she was living with her step mom😢

😥 That's the tragedy still faced among us Africans.
Parents not being more watchful of their children...and because of shame, taboos, and stigma, they rather pretend they don't know their child has been abused by a relative, than taking the necessary measures for justice to prevail... especially for the victims.
Kitalo nyo... 🙂 However we thank God for hope and the fact that the tides are already changing. 💪🏾
