How'd you learn to animate 3d models? I don't know much about animating traditionally, (I plan on learning that eventually, whenever,) but 3d animation is just as intriguing.
I learned by developing a facination with wanting to animate a character from a game I played, and lo and behold, I still do it to this day. The resources are online and my weapon of choice is blender. There are many communities to get you started.

For the Dragon of Dojima moveset switch, I suggest making it have the same color as his Yakuza 7 aura for DOD (just to make it more badass).
