@@Tambdubillota Yes at times, on highway one have to be careful. however this happens with every sedan, the reason people are choosing suv.

Mileage in bumper to bumper banglore traffic in my VX cvt I get is 12. Highways 100Kmph I get 19Kmpl. Highways 70kmph I get 21Kmpl.
No complaints so far. Good build quality too.

Just Completed 1 Lac Kms of my Diesel Amaze from First lot when it was announced in 2013 April, getting mileage of 29-31 easily on Highways. comfortably 20 in city.
He never tells us the negatives about any car it feels like a paid promotion of the brand

Best car in the segment.. Everything is put together at it's best.. Very comfortable car for City and casual Highway runs too.. Seats are very comfortable..and ground clearance is good too never touched any regular speed breakers, GC is better than i20 n Baleno.. mileage depends and way we drive.. If we drive gently we can get around 14-15 in City n upto 19-20 on highways.. If driven hard it'll drop by 10-20%
GC is lower than previous gen i20 do not know about new gen i20

@@gowherulislam5480 i don't know about exact numbers but i own 2021 facelifted amaze n never scrapped to regular bumps but observed i20 n Baleno being scraped on similar patches.. May be due to no of passengers/stiff suspension..
@@samyakthjainhc5709 I also own Amaze 2020, though I have also scrapped only a few times but I have observed that the previous gen i20 has little more ground clearance than Amaze, I drive in hilly areas of kashmir

Simply put, this car is Keanu Reeves in compact sedan segment. It's half the cost of its real value. No extravaganza of useless accessories but elegant with simplcity. But comfort level, driving experience and sense of safety are incomparable.
The best car in this segment was Ford aspire.. too good to be in India miss the car.

given that all my family members are over 6ft in height, 2nd row adjustable headrest and also rear ac vent are dealbreakers for me... hope honda adds these in future variants
I too have everyone 6ft, no complaints at all. Regarding the AC I cannot comment as it becomes subjective and something to be test driven.

You didn't mention many negative things in this car. It's a one side review. Not good. No rear AC vents, No front arms rest, No auto IRVM, Not good music system, 60:40 back seats etc. very less features

This is a great car. It's such a shame that Indians don't appreciate it. Whenever I recommend this car to others to buy it they laugh at me saying who buys Amaze. I pity them.

i think if we talk about practicality ...HONDA AMAZE is a great choice over compact SUV... huge space inside ...huge boot space ... very very silent refined 4 cylinder cvt engine...very comfortable and plush ride...huge boot space ( which sometimes missing in compact suv)...NVH level is excellent ....so practically it is a great car

Bro suspension is little bit softer. With high load suspension will low down. If the car has a wider tyre surely the tyre will scrap with car body.

Thin body can get dented very easily

Honda really need to add a centre arm rest, rear ac vents and a better infotainment system to make it more appealing. It has safety and engine but not the appeal. Adding these things will make it a complete package
Arm rest is available at Honda as accessory. Infotainment music quality is good for the value.
Infotainment system doesn’t lag at this price point. I have seen top variant Nexon with a laggy infotainment system.

If you have money then buy something with hybrid engine, my friend has hyryder and it's giving 24-25kmpl. Better than my classic350 lol.
13-14-15 in city traffic and 19-20 on highways if u drive in 80s and 90s and even 21-22 if u drive in 60s but try to drive below 2000rpms
City will be 12-13 and on highway I’m getting 17-18

I am owner of this car from one year. Mileage in city is very bad. Not so good on highways also. Suspension is very weak
I'm puzzled at why the cvt version does not have cruise control.
CVT is basically a city centred trans mission, that means at low speeds u will get good power and less lag so CVT is best for city driving where u don't need cruise but yes Honda should have given it in Amaze

Glanza has no resale and smaller car too. Amaze is bigger and good resale. Far better than Glanza

The thing that works against this car is it runs as a cab. That stops many buyers to buy this car. Secondly the price at which it comes doesn't matches with it's interior looks, infotainment and cluster design.

DEZIRE LOOKS WAY MORE SPACIOUS BUT BIULD QUALITY IS VERY LOW, IF DEZIRE UPGRADES ITS BIULD QUALITY THEN OTHER COMPANIES CAN NOT COMPETE IN THIS SEGMENT.
Dzire is already tge market leader in this segment..It consistently sells more than 10000 units every month..others are not even close..

if u r planning for the diesel one then surely if not then have a test drive of the both the vehicles in the same day. Amaze will give u good refinement and the resale value will also be higher than Altroz. Honda's service is also very good. Any premium hatchback buyers should take a look at Amaze for once for sure.

@@planetjokes i also like Altroz but the only thing it lacks is its reliability in the long run. Yes there are major improvements with phase 2 engines still the reliability factors is still a question mark nd the service quality is also needed to be taken into consider.
