You can do diploma in information technology (which im doing right now) or diploma in computer engineering for 3 years and then you can get admission to direct second year of engineering. Diploma in information technology & diploma in computer engineering both are same the only difference is in 'computer engineering one has a little bit hardware info along with software where diploma in IT has only software related education.
Please dont make an mindset that "you need to do masters in software compulsory " It is required in some places only.... and there are really only 3 things needed to big or small companies 1- You any programming language skills. 2 - Your problem solving skills. 3 - Your data structure and algorithm is also important.

You won't be a software engineer. You will be a software tester.😂 Which is made by more qualified Computer Engineers who studied CSE or B. Tech. Unqualified IT and BCA students won't do very good,just a software tester or work like a junior/assistant to qualified engineers.
The main thing isn't covered in this video is "ALL HI-TECH COMPANIES INCLUDING GOOGLE, IBM, INTEL etc don't asks for what courses you've completed they only needs to knw what your skills are" Skills matters most rather then these courses...
