Truly atmospheric nostalgia... I MISS THE 90s! 90s was when video game music was truly alive and dominated over anything else! This background music will stay in my heart forever!
right here, yup. tons of times i put this game on to pause a bunch of levels and hear the tunes. same w/ the first dkc. some of the best music ever made--not just video game music, i mean any music
I love having songs you can listen to, either from the game or that you listened to while playing, that bring you back to certain joyous moments. I have so many from cod4, DKC, Ocarina of Time. Games are so much better when you first start playing them
I said nothing about cod but this kids clearly never played PS3 or Xbox or at least given them much of a chance because there amazing. I remember 6 years ago playing Oblivion on PS3 for the 1st time. I was playing Zelda Twilight Princess mostly on Gamecube before that thought TP was the best game ever. I was such a Nintendo fanboy I didn't wanna admit it was better the 1st thing I dissed was the jumping animation but that's all I could find I could go anywhere do anything limitless freedom.
I really start thinking about how all the video games now involve anger, and how as a kid even though i wasn't that good at games I still always had fun. It kinda makes me mad to think about were games are going.
@Maurice Beacham Exactly. I'm a ten year old kid and I LOVE old games and their good music. Kids these days think there is nothing more than COD. I mean seriously, those kids should get a life.
This song messes with my emotions, it reminds me about how good my child hood was, all the fun things i did. It also makes me feel sad that those moments are gone and i can ever enjoy them again. It makes me mad about things iv done wrong in my past and i regret...
Its so weird, listening to this song fuckes with my emotions. I feel sad because the days of the SNES are gone, i fell mad because of the struggle this game gave me, and i feel happy because its the memorys of coming home from school and having so much fun with this game....
Dude, the reason DKC got so much publicity at first was because no one had ever seen the graphics it was showcasing. It kind of saved the SNES, so the cultural reactions to graphics haven't changed much.
I'm-a kid from today...and i hate COD and i love old games...and i love nintendo! (i'm 15 but i say i'm-a kid,and even when i grow and be a adult...i will be kid...because if you let the kid inside you die,you gonna be a sad person. (i like new games...but mostly based on old ones...Final Fantasy...Mario...Kirby...Rockman...Sonic,Donkey Kong, etc.) That's why i make SMW hacks to continue the glorious old games! And this piece of art called Sticker Brush Symphony is going to be a overworld theme!
@MegaG58tehfirst amen to that! This was an era where game-play was king. kinda disapointing that everything now a days is revolving around fps and dlc and not the core of the game. kinda sad
If you always wonder what going to happend after i die.Is there any thing after life or am i just gone forever. just turn on a donkey kong country 2 and listen to this song you will find the anser look in your self
Yeah,I don't mind playing other games, even being not nintendo(Sonic is an example...but old ones only, because the new ones aren't good) And Atelier Iris and other RPGs that I like aren't on Nintendo consoles but they're cool. I also like Touhou because i like retro looking games.
@gillieman760 Its painful to think of where the future of gaming is going..if games have fallen this much since the early 90's, what will happen after 2015? I daresay Mario himself may become obscure in a generation where 'its only a game if it has good graphics' and 'fps or gtfo'. All our childhood memories may be pushed aside for more call of duty and other generic, and unimaginative shooters in a short while. Which i dont want to happen.
We need to go back to the cartrige game era. Imagine no loading times in games. sure graphics may slump, but if a 16 bit game cart like DKC2 can kick more ass than fps's, so be it. DK is better anyway.
Frustration meets music perfection
Truly atmospheric nostalgia... I MISS THE 90s! 90s was when video game music was truly alive and dominated over anything else! This background music will stay in my heart forever!
i think this is the love theme of diddy and dixie
David Wise, you are boss. This along with the Forest Interlude are my absolute faaaves :)

One of the best musics from a game
Oh god this brings back so many memories!
Even in Let's play Donkey kong country 2 commentaries, they would say they loved this song the best. I do enjoy this song the best :3
One of the best melodies ever made!

My favorite track and level of DKC2. With all of the mayhem this game brings, this level and track makes you feel calm.
I really start thinking about how all the video games now involve anger, and how as a kid even though i wasn't that good at games I still always had fun. It kinda makes me mad to think about were games are going.
I spent to much time playing the game.
I pritty much memorized the song but still brings back allot of memories
This music we have to listen with ours souls .
that is the best game music ever !
i remember when i was a child, and i always lose or die at playing games like this.
Nothing beats the oldies.
I think I cried a little. It's just that good.
My favorite music track from this game.
Brings out nostalgia.

no one in the world has ever been more right than you. i absolutely agree. take a bow :D
Brings back nostalgia of when Nintendo actually put some effort into their games and also memories of frustration trying to navigate the brambles
El mejor Track de DK (Personal) y lo más relajante en 16BIT
Beautiful.
I remember when I was a little kid I played this game. And it makes me remember the past back then.
I want my childhood back!!!
This song... It reminds me that it's Diddy Kong's destiny to save DK (Donkey Kong) So many memories
BEST MUSIC EVER RIP SNES!!!! RIP THE GOOD OLD DAYS!! RIP DK2 AND RARE!!
The day when I die...this song will sounds forever.

@MuiscLover123 Correction, David Wise is the bossest boss that ever bossed like a boss.
@MegaG58tehfirst amen to that! This was an era where game-play was king. kinda disapointing that everything now a days is revolving around fps and dlc and not the core of the game. kinda sad
They better fucking play this at my funeral
If you always wonder what going to happend after i die.Is there any thing after life or am i just gone forever. just turn on a donkey kong country 2 and listen to this song you will find the anser look in your self
This is an amazing track. Too bad the freaking bramble levels are hard as hell.
RETROPLAYERS!!!!!!

play it at 240p if you want the audio to sound like it did back on CRT TVs
@Reiuyi Whats more, how on earth did they manage to fit it onto a GBA Cartridge?
We need to go back to the cartrige game era. Imagine no loading times in games. sure graphics may slump, but if a 16 bit game cart like DKC2 can kick more ass than fps's, so be it. DK is better anyway.
Música inesquecível jogo top.
now guys, serious: do we really need heaven after death?
@MuiscLover123 exactly, best 2 songs
The song is called Stickerbush Symphony
This song always put me to sleep
I feel sad but happy..l
I do actually xD
I have experience COD first hand, it was the most boring game I have ever played. I had more fun with learning games >.>
dont start a debate here just relax and enjoy the music
dejavu?
Hmm yes.. yes you do
You can't judge what you haven't experienced kid
Nintendo does make incredible quality games but there short and years behind what other games are doing
