  • Alexander and Diallos two stories about rediscovery and the courage to change to sacrifice to fight for something they believe in. They fought well but now their fight is over.

The hole idea of Alexander fighting you and not fight someone else is that through out Alexander’s journey to become a worthy champion you as the player always succeed, but in the other hand Alexander loses and doesn’t overcome the challenge by himself. So by the time you reach Farum Asula (the crumbling city) you beat the most powerful demigod and the last fire giant (which also has a god inside him) both of which you defeat and Alexander doesn’t, so he sees you as the mightiest person ever and ask you for a duel, but you also have the choice not do it and not grant him this opportunity to prove himself.

There's a fun fact that Diallos when dies drops a more expensive rune than his brother which shows his true worth...

Vaati does a very good job with the cinematics and telling a cohesive story and the one thing that he does a great job at is telling the more personal and emotional side of Elden Ring. Honestly you can't go wrong with any of his videos look forward to more.

I think NotLegoo explained the Alexander situation very well and just to add on to that there is a theory out there that the reason the jars want someone with smooth hands is because that person will make new pots.

I like this theory because the reasons given where not satisfactory to me.

The best part is, the jar child is going to truely be a legendary warrior. Warrior jars gain power from the remains inside of them. Which means the jarburg child will have Diallos's heart, Alexander's bravery, Radahn's might, and who knows how many other legendary warriors of the shattering that died on radahn's battlefield. When the Jarburg Child fully grows up...I bet he'll make alexander proud.

18:40 It's not hypocrisy. They need someone with smooth hands to take care of them because their own hands are rough so they can't do it themselves.

It is Soulsborne tradition that those who bare no armor and lays with only thin helm are the mightiest of warriors.
