I might just be the only person who knew the second way but didn't know the first way. The second way is turning off Move or lower the studs of Move, and the first way is the way he explained in this video, turning on Collisions.
Theres 2 ways to do that and the first option is he showed and option 2 is: go to models and go put move and rotation (rotations optional) and set it to 0.5 (u can set rotate to 1 or 0.01 because it kind makes a difference.) Edit: if this helps ur welcome Edit: 2 Yep srry I forgot to say you could also put it to 0.5 to move. Edit: 3 Just edited this again and you can't set it to 0 as it breaks so just set it to 0.01 if you want to make it 0
Well not really, in this case you would fix it by halving the move and keep rotation. Else you would just need to be lucky to line it perfectly and changing the rotation to 0 is just gonna get in your way. I would suggest rotation 15.
you all are dumb lmao just set move to like 0.25 or somethin in the video it looks like its moving 2 studs at a time to so just set it to 1 and it should line up find
I’ll say #2 for him 2: Go to the model tab (on studio) find move set it to 1 or what ever movement is needed and then you move it *(obviously)*. You are done!
To everyone whos curious what the second tip is. Basically u go to the "Model" properity ontop and then find the move and rotate. When u find them just turn them off and itll make your moving and rotating better
the 2nd tip would prolly be to lower your move studs, because roblox automatically sets it to zero and turn on join surfaces to see if they're touching
My favorite was 2 it’s more easy fun and less complicated am too lazy to click a few buttons so what I will do is pay someone 2 dollars thanks helped me out a ton
The second way is the lower your increment. I suggest working with increment that are divisible by each other. I use 0.05, 0.1, 0.5, 1+ Also use plug-ins. Like F3x.
"legends say that people are still waiting for option 2"

Wow ur gonna grow a lot, this was helpful for beginners so I thank you on behalf of the new builders on roblox.
Apart from the fact that when you first get into studio you have collisions automatically on by default
the video is stolen thats why its short and when the person says "2 ways" it cuts after 1 way
was not very helpful, collisions enabled by default, and he didnt mention the 2nd, cuz its stolen!

Casually setting the steps to 0.01 so I can move parts accurately

Thank you, because of you I made a really popular game and now I am a billionare
Thank you so much, As A Roblox Game Creator, This Helped Me.
Omg i have been needing this for soo long!
Option 2: go to model and youll see a move option press it and adjust it to how you like i prefer 0.01 studs since is easy to move things around
WOAH Thank you for option 2 it really helped.
I had been experiencing this issue, now is totally solved, thank you!
i love it when he showed us the second way
tip: option 2 is alot better than the first option, i recommend using it more
or just press shift to disable snapping to make it litteraly exactly how you want it to be
Dam those "2 Ways" were great, helped me a lot (fr just go to move and you can set your move to 0.1 or 0)
I can see it a 0.5 gap/0.5 clip so you can set it to 0.5 instead of 0.1 or 0 because it could br inaccurate
I loved the part where he shows the second way
This is the bane of my existence, thank you 🙏
The first one didn't really work but like the second one WAS THE MOST HELPFUL TIP EVER. THAMK YOU
the second option worked so much better! thanks so much!!
Option 2 was so handy, I didn’t know about increments
You have so much potential. Try making some long form videos instead of just shorts!

the 2nd tip would prolly be to lower your move studs, because roblox automatically sets it to zero and turn on join surfaces to see if they're touching
Thanks for showing me how to ‘make a game’!
Option two is opening the model tab and either unchecking move of lowering its value

Second option: go to the avatar tab on the top, select move, and set to 0.01 or 0.1 studs
The other way is turn on join surfaces and do the amount of studs to 0.1 Studs.
Join surfaces ist below collisions what he shows in the video...
Its been out for almost 3 years and the second is still legendary
Ty, just what I needed ❤️
this fixed all my scripting bugs, thanks!
for people who are actually curious :
Top of your screen -> Model -> Move
set increment to whatever you like

The second tip is to turn down the tick or whatever it was called I don’t remember it since the last time I used studio was a year ago
Option 2 was so good and I recommend it more than option 1...
Option "2"
The second one helped me so much thanks!
You could just change your grid size
Option 2 is you go to "MODEL" right next to "HOME" then set the rotate and move to 0.0000001 studs. You're welcome.
I love the part when he shows the second way
I'm gonna make the perfect game with this doorway

For people waiting the second option:
While moving the piece press shift so it moves less and you can put it milimetricaly.
The 2nd should Be
"or Change MOVE into 0.1 or 0.2"
